My eyes flutter open.
"AHHH!" I scream, "THE LIGHT IS SO BRIGHT!"
I look around and I see Jake, James' older brother.
"Jake!" I shout. "Where am I?"
"Well, you fainted so your school called your house. Your mom picked up and called James but he was at school so he called me so I came to your school to pick you up and now you're at my house." He said.
"Oh." Was all I could say.
I pull my phone out of my pocket.
Woah, 2:18 already.
"In, about a half an hour, you get to see your best friend." Jake whispers.
Whoops, I forgot to mention that James was my best friend for life!
"Okay. Thanks Jake." I whisper back.
"No problem." He grins.
"Wait, why are we whispering?" I ask, still whispering.
"I don't know." He laughs.
"Let's play Monopoly!" I shout excitedly while running over to the monopoly board.
"No thanks."
"What about," I place my hand on my chin, stroking my imaginary beard,"Connect Four?"
"Okay, get ready to lose." He smirks. "I am the champion at this game."
"Not after this match." I smirk back at him.
"Who ever loses has to lick the washroom door." He grins evilly.
"Oh, it's on, loser."
~ AFTER THE GAME ~
"NO!" I yell.
Jake laughs at me. "Now, you need to lick the washroom door."
I give him my puppy eyes but he just turns around.
"Don't look at her." He repeats to himself. "Go lick the washroom door."
"I really didn't think that this would happen." I huff.
We walk towards the washroom door as my palms begin to sweat. My tongue slowly reaches the washroom door. Right when my tongue hits the wooden door, I quickly move away from it.
"Ew!" I squeal. "That's so gross!"
"How about we watch a movie?"
"No thanks. I need to edit a video." I say, thinking about that day I filmed the cotton ball challenge. "I got to go."
"Okay, kiddo."
I walk home and into my room.
"Where is it?" I whisper quietly to myself as I look for my video camera. "Here it is." I bring my video camera to my laptop and import the video clip to my laptop.
I turn on my phone and press the music app. I tap on the 'shuffle' button so I could jam out while editing. I start dancing around to the song 'Wings' by Little Mix while my fingertips press on the letters on my keyboard. I hum to the song and nod my head to the beat.
"Melissa?"
I turn around and blush from embarrassment.
