"No way!" I squeal.
"Yes way girl!" Jeremy laughs.
"I can't believe it! 70% off on all items in the best store ever! We HAVE to go, now!" I command. I grab his hand and drags him into a store filled with makeup, dresses and girly things. My jaw drops open when I look at the prices. "Oh my goodness! I need this dress! It's so cute!" I pick up a coral pink dress from the shelf. "It's so cheap, too."
"Do you guys need any help finding anything?" A worker asks and gives Jeremy a small smile.
"Everything is great, perfect, amazing, fabulous, fantastic, terrific, excelle-"
"Alright, we get it. Everything is good." Jeremy cuts me off.
"That's great." The worker bites her lip and looks up at Jeremy. She starts walking off before I tap her on the shoulder. "Yes?" She asks.
"Can you show me where the change rooms are?" I question.
"Yeah, follow me." She strolls along with Jeremy and I following her tracks. She, then, gestures to a long line of people. I gawk at the amount of people who are waiting for a turn to try on some clothes.
"No way." I groan. "It would take hours to try on one dress!"
"No, Melissa. I'll wait in line while you find clothes." Jeremy is such a sweetheart. Kinda.
"Thanks!" I throw the dress at him and skip along to the makeup section. I grab a handful of different makeup items and read the prices. "OH MY GAWSH!" I scream. All the people that is about 10 meters close to me turn their heads in my direction. A worker quickly runs to my side.
"Are you okay? What happened?" The cute boy asks. I stare at his face.
"H-hi!" I stammer. "Everything is perfect." He smiles at me and I melt.
"That's great." He nods and notices me staring. "Is there anything on my face?"
I nod. "A nose." I reply. Gosh, that was a stupid answer. I mentally facepalm myself.
He laughs and nods. Wow, he has a cute laugh. "Yeah, I have a nose. You have something on your face, too."
"Yeah? What is it." I start to mentally panic because he might think I'm a monster.
"Two bright, blue, beautiful eyes." He smiles.
I blush furiously. "Thanks."
"And you have some gravy on your face." He states.
"Oh." I look down, embarrassed and try to wipe it off.
"It's right there." He points beside my nose.
I blush madly and attempt to wipe it away.
He chuckles. "It's gone now. My name is Marcus."
"I'm Melissa."
"That's a nice name."
"Melissa!" Jeremy calls.
"Is that your boyfriend?" Marcus asks.
"No, he's my cousin. I better go now. Bye Marcus." I reply.
He nods and continues his job as I walk over to Jeremy, realizing that he is second in line while there are numerous people waiting behind him.
"Thanks, Jeremy!" I poke his cheek and stand beside him.
"Meow." He pouts and swaps my hand away with t-rex arms. I giggle and poke his cheek again. He huffs playfully and crosses his arms. Sassily, he rolls his eyes and checks his nails, giving me the cold shoulder. Ouch.
"Fine, be that way." I copy his actions before I poke his forehead.
"Girl, don't touch me." He sneers. He takes out his phone and pretends to text his friends. "I don't want, like, filthy Melissa germs, like, all over me."
"Ooooh, sassy, I see." I smirk.
