I pulled her into the elevator and pressed the top floor, taking a step back and looking over at her. She had this look on her face like I had just abducted her and brought her here against her will. Her eyebrows were knitted slightly and her eyes sparkled with almost fear.
"Don't look so scared" I laughed, swaying towards her and banging our shoulders together softly. Her expression changed suddenly and she grinned, letting out a small laugh. "I'm sorry, it just looked really nice. I don't know what to expect".
Before I could answer the elevator dinged and the door spread open, revealing a small little black and red entrance to the noodle restaurant. A tall man with dark black hair stood behind the desk. "Table for two?" He asked gesturing his hand towards us and I nodded in response.
He walked inside, the both of us quietly following as he lead us through the inside of the restaurant and all the way to the back balcony. I looked left over to Olivia and watched her jaw drop as she gazed out the massive glass windows that filled the place. Showing the breath taking view of the top of Seoul and all the buildings surrounding it.
"Would you like to be seated outside?" I turned my attention to Olivia, raising my eyebrow asking if that's where she wanted to sit. Her reply was just nodding eagerly, so I took that as a yes. The man continued, walking over to the massive doors that lead you to outside, opening one and holding it open for us.
Outside was quiet compared to inside where you could hear the chatter and whispers of over 60 people having their own little conversations and the clanking and tinging of cutlery hitting the plates. There was only an older couple sitting at one table to left of us and an elderly man sitting alone to the right.
The waiter handed us our menus and bowed before walking off back into the restaurant. I took a seat on the right side of the table letting her sit the other, so she could see the view. She sat down smiling widely as she gazed out at the city in awe of its beauty. A cool breeze picked up causing her hair to blow around tadpole before she frantically tried to keep it down with one hand. "This is so nice" she stated before looking down and opening the menu.
I smiled to myself, I was so glad she didn't hate it, I brought one of my ex girlfriends to a place similar to this, boy was that the worst night of my life. It ended in her running out of the place in tears and me having to pay for everything and causing an unwanted scene. She also kept whining the whole night and complaining that the place wasn't nice enough or the meal wasn't expensive enough for her liking.
I get shivers up my spine every time I think about her, I honestly didn't know what went through my head when I dated that bitch."What are you gonna get?" She asked me peering her head up to give me a quick glance. I looked down at my menu and ran my finger down the side reading all the dishes. "I don't know" I answered, there was so much to choose from.
Our conversation was stopped when a lady came up to the table with a note pad and pen, she gave us both a massive smile. "Can I get you two any drinks?" She asked.
"I'll have a coke please" Olivia said, not looking up from the menu.
"Same" I added. The lady nodded and bowed before walking back inside."Your not gonna tip the drink on me this time right?" She snickered, raising an eyebrow at me. I rolled my eyes grinning "you're never gonna let me live that down are you?"
"Nope" she replied, popping the p.We order our food and sat quietly for awhile just taking in the view. "So, tell me about bts" she asked, batting her eyes and resting her chin on her hands that were propped up on the table. "I don't know much about You's".
"What exactly did you want to know?" I replied, getting a little nervous. It's not that I was scared to talk to her just kind of embarrassed about the whole subject.
"When did You's start?"
"Um two and a bit years now, our new song dope is being released next week and I am so keen for it." I smiled, then suddenly got shy and looked down at my lap.
"Oh my god, that's so cool! I'm excited to hear it!" She exclaimed, her eyes lighting up. "You sing right?".
I nodded. She really didn't know much about bts, it kind of amazed me because most people I come across already know so much about Bangtan do this was all a different experience for me.The lady came back with our drinks and we ordered our food, both of us ordering the main noodle dish they served here. After we ordered the lady walked away again and Olivia continued. "So you stay with jimin and Tae taeh-?" She stopped confused as to what his name was.
"Taehyung" I corrected her smiling and nodding. "We share a dorm together and the other four share one across the hall" I explained, she nodded, stirring her drink with the straw." what about you?" I question, staring at her as she continued to stir the drink and play with the ice with her straw. She looked so fixated on it but could still manage to answer me. Not daring to look away from her glass she explained "I have a house back in busan that I share with my friend"
"Boyfriend?" I dragged out, asking hesitantly. I never actually thought about the fact should could have a boyfriend. Especially a girl as pretty as she was, it was definitely a possibility. I guess It never really crossed my mind because I never pictured her with anyone else. To be honest I wanted her all to myself. But then i kept reminding myself that I had only just me the girl and i needed to slow down. For all I know she probably doesn't even like me the same way?
I got rather nervous waiting for her to reply, Low key hoping she would say no.
"Nope" she grinned at me deviously "just a friend and she's a girl". I blushed at the embarrassment at how straight forward my question actually was, which made her grin grow bigger."What about you, got a girlfriend? " she asked, staring directly at me this time. It took all of me to not look away. "Nah no girlfriend, we're not really suppose to or should I say are actually aloud girlfriends, because it's distracting" I replied honestly, I guess the rule kind of made sense because I did fuck up during practice a lot yesterday because of this girl, so the theory wasn't wrong.
I swear I saw her face drop but she quickly recovered nodding. "Oh so you've never had a girlfriend?"
"No I have" I said, accidentally gritting my teeth. The thought of my old girlfriend made me cringe so hard. Olivia must of noticed because she raised an eyebrow. "Oh. Not a good experience?" She question. "No, not at All. She was terrible to me, it kind of turned me off dating for awhile anyway so I guess it was easier for me to obey the no girlfriend rule" I explained taking a sip of my drink.
"Oh wow if she turned you off dating it must of been pretty brutal. May I ask what happened". I flinched at that sentence, I hated when people asked what happened between me and my ex. I was about to speak when the food was brought down and placed in front of us.I would usually say no to whoever was asking but I felt like I could trust her. But I wasn't ready to speak about it just yet. "Another time" I told her, picking up my fork as she nodded and did the same.
We finished our food and I paid for our meal. Olivia tried to protest with me paying for her meal but I insisted and said it was another thing I was gonna do to try and make up for yesterday. After awhile she stopped and allowed me to. After that we both walked out the restaurant and down the elevator to the bottom floor and out the doors.
We were in there for awhile because the sun was almost setting. We walked out onto the streets of Seoul, the wind still slightly blowing. "Oh my god" I heard Olivia almost shout. I turned to her questioningly and saw her staring across the street with wide eyes and a massive smile. "ice cream!" She shouted pointing to the Ben and jerry's. "Can we get some?" She asked shaking my arm before bouncing up and down. I rolled my eye at the child in front of me before laughing and nodding. Was I out with Olivia or Taehyung?
