Chapter 6-

We crossed the road and walked into the ice cream shop, I followed close behind Olivia as she stared intently at the various, delicious looking flavors in front of us. The small shop was close to vacant, all except for the two teenagers in the far corner sitting down.

The shop was playing quiet music through the speakers in the roof as the lady over the counter greeted us with a smile. "What can u get You's?" She asked. Olivia looked over at me "cookies and cream" I whispered too her and she nodded. "One cookies and cream and one chocolate thanks" she told the lady before taking a step back, standing level with me.

"Wait, don't you have a flight at 4?" I said suddenly panicking, looking at the clock in the wall that read 3:02"
"Oh yeah!" She exclaimed and my heart sped up as I began to worry. "I forgot to tell you!" She continued, I stopped and stared, confused. "I doubled checked my flights earlier and its 4am so tomorrow morning" she explained and I almost wiped the bead of sweat that was now on my forehead from freaking out just before. "Oh thank god" I said as she laughed at me.

"Omg" she said quietly, not taking her eyes off the black and white checkered floor that filled the ice cream parlor. "What? I question, confused at her sudden outburst.
"I just realized something" I nodded, still confused wanting her to explain further. "I order a KOOKIES and cream" she said softly nudging me in the ribs and emphasizing the word cookie. I rolled my eyes and let out a laugh, shaking my head. "Wow" was all I managed to get out as my smile grew bigger, the more I thought about her cute little comment. "Has anyone ever made that joke before?" Olivia asked, suddenly taking her eyes off the floor.

"Uhhh" I dragged out thinking about it. "Yes actually" she looked always disappointed that Ashe wasn't the first one to say it. "Have you met Taehyung yet?" I asked looking down, grinning at her. I watched her shake her head no in response. "Well I'm introducing you to him because that's so a comment he would make" I laughed still shaking my head at her childish words. Even though they were childish, I still found them amusing. I liked that about her.

"I'm calling you JungKookie from now on" she stated, smiling to herself smugly like she was impressed with what she had just come up with. My heart raced a little at her words and my face almost heated up a bit. I don't know why I got so embarrassed but this feeling in my stomach erupted when she said those words. I nodded at her, still smiling.

The song from earlier had stopped and different one started to play, I almost fell over when I heard it. It was war of hormone. "Oh my god" I said out loud laughing. "What?" She asks me looking confused. "This is one of our songs" I said, dancing. She started laughing as I continued to dance to it, not caring if anyone in the shop thought I was weird for doing so.

"Oh! I know this song" she told me slapping my arm lightly. "I didn't know it was bts!" She exclaimed looking amazed. "Shows how much I pay attention" she giggled, joining me in dancing to it. "La la la la" she sang along and I stopped dancing and stared at her. She sounded on point, I continued staring in awe as she sung the whole chorus perfectly.

"What?" She asked innocently, smiling at me, almost like she was embarrassed. The lady interrupted our conversation by handing us over the ice creams as she skipped over and picked them both up before skipping out the shop. I followed, still confused as to what just happened. "You never told me you could sing!" I said grabbing my ice cream off her.

We walked down the empty road as I followed her, she shrugged "I'm not really that Good" she stated, licking the too of her ice cream. "Bitch" I said in a high pitched voice, she turned to me and screwed her face up "you're better than me" I said grinning. She burst out laughing "no way".

I saw her eyeing off my ice cream in the corner of my eye. "Your's looks good" she said before leaning over me, taking a lick of mine. "Hey!" I laughed pulling it away from her.

She pouted her lips and batted her eyes at me. I pretended to feel bad, before I put some on my finger and wiped it on her nose. She gasped but before she could do anything else I ran down the street, away form her laughing. "Oi!" She called out giggling as she chased after me.

We got all the way back to the car, both still in fits of laughter, before we hopped inside, the atmosphere quickly changing from cool night air into got stuffy car. I started the engine and had to drive with one hand because of the ice cream.

We finally got back to the dorms and the sun finally set so it was dark as she followed me up the stairs. I came to halt when I was in front of the doorway of the form I shared with Jimin and Tae. She abruptly stopped directly behind, as if she wasn't watching where she was going and almost walked into my back. I heard her let out an embarrassed laugh, confirming my thoughts.

I turned to her and just stared, not really knowing what to do, or what happens from here. Olivia was looking down at her hands as she fiddled with them slowly. She let out a loud sigh before building the courage to look up at me. "I had a lot of fun tonight" her expression changed from annoyed to happy, as she tucked a piece of her behind her ear, Thank you".
I nodded "me too, it was great getting to know you" I watched her smile grow at my words. I shifted awkwardly back and forth on my feet, not knowing what to say next.

I watch her brown eyes, flicked up and down my body as she stated at me intently, trying to find the right words to say next. "What happens now?" I asked almost to straight forward. She sighed again almost going back to sad. "I don't know" she spoke quietly, her face almost looked pitiful.
"Are you okay?" I asked, looking for any hint of how she was feeling.

"I'm just sad that I have to leave y-" she stopped "Seoul" she corrected herself, she looked down and I saw her eyes widen at what she had almost just said. I couldn't help but smile to myself, knowing exactly what she was gong to say. She clearly was embarrassed about it because her face was red and filled with fear.

I pretended I didn't hear it, in hope that she'd feel better or less embarrassed. "It's shit that you have to go" I told her, reaching out and putting my finger under her chin and tiling her head up, making her look me directly in the eyes. I stepped forward, closing most of the gap between our bodies.

I could almost feel her heartbreak increase at my touch as she frantically spoke "Sorry I'm leaving so soon"
"Promise me that we'll see each other again?" I almost demanded at her, looking her deep in the eyes.

She was taken back by my comment but then thought hard about it. "I promise" she whispered, hearing that made me smile as she took a step back away from me.
"I'll text you" she reassured me before added "bye" waving and turning to walk away.

I couldn't let her just leave so suddenly, it felt wrong, it felt like I just needed to do something else to show her how I felt. Without thinking, I quickly grabbed her by the wrist and spun her around before slamming her gently against the dorm door. "Goodbye olivia" I breathed out, our faces inches apart. It took all of me not to kiss her then and there, but I knew it was the wrong thing to do.

She just took in the moment and stared into my eyes, hers being wide and her breathing heavy from the sudden impact I just caused on her. After it slowed down her worried face turned into a small smile. "Goodbye Jungkookie" and with that said, I let her go and she grinned getting off the door and starting to walk away. "Until next time" i spoke, waving goodbye as she did the same. I watched as her figure slowly disappeared down the staircase until she was gone.

I slid down the door, not ready to go inside yet as the same massive grin I had all day was still plasters on my face. I sat against the door with my needs up just smiling as I stared at nothing in particular,
Thinking about all the occurrences of yesterday and today. That was all until my mind came to a halt as I could feel my heart almost physically break in two. She was flying back to busan tomorrow morning.
