How dare my father bring this jerk to greet me! He knew I had a 'boyfriend' so why? I turn around to see Daniel giving Cory a death glare. I go up to him and hug his arm and rest my head on his shoulder. You know, just to annoy both my father and the asshöle he brought with him. "Oh well, I have a boyfriend anyways. One that I love." I narrow my eyes when I say that. Then I look up with fake but passionate eyes to Daniel. Then out of completely no where, he kisses me. He turns me around and puts his arms around my waist. I put my arms around his neck and kiss him back. I grip his hair in my hands and he closes all distance between us. I won't deny it, I miss the way a kiss feels. It's been a while. Plus Daniel knows what he's doing. We keep kissing but now he's trying to get me to open my mouth. I do. Like I said, it's to piss them off and I should be able to treat myself every so often too. His tongue explores my mouth and our kissing only deepens. That is until we have to stop because we've run out of breath. That's okay, the lust in the air was a bit too much to handle. Our lips part and we both smile at each other. Out of the corner of my eye I can see my father in shock and Cory is as red as a tomato due to anger. Man, do I know how to effect people. I give them a playful smile and grab onto Daniels waist resting my head on his chest. "Hey baby, let's go to our hotel and unpack." I say loud enough for people to hear and in a seductive way. Daniel looks shocked for a moment then agrees, we take our bags. "Oh and I'll be back for dinner, dad." We exit the airport leaving behind the most confused set of males.
"What's gotten into you, darling? I realized you don't like that guy by listening into your little fight but to go as far as kissing me is all new." Great. What an amazing conversation starter in a cab.
"Well I felt like it. Nothing much more, and it was only a bonus that you're pretty good at kissing." I froze realizing what I just said out loud. I turn my head slowly toward him thinking maybe he didn't hear me. Wrong. He totally heard me, I could tell by his devilish grin.
"Oh really, well if you think I'm good at kissing then you should see how good I am in be-" he starts, "NO!" I yell to not hear the ending of his sentence. "Don't deny it princess, you secretly want me." I roll my eyes "as if." "Okay prove it." He says cockily. He leans in and kisses me again but this time with more passion, more want, more everything. The worst part, I didn't refuse. He started kissing down my neck and put his hand on my inner thigh slowly working his way up.
"Hey! You two! Could you please wait until we stop." The cab driver interrupted us and I pulled back lightning fast. I'm shocked. Stunned. Confused. Why didn't I say no.
"Told you, you want me." He's smiling ear to ear and has even more confidence then usual. Which sucks for me. Now I have to deal with this big headed idiot.
The cab stops and he opens the door for me. The hotel is nice, not that I expected anything else from Mr. fancy pants.
We enter the room and I'm excited to take a look around since this one room is like a large apartment. A kitchen, a living room, a hot tub, a huge bathroom, and finally one single bedroom. "Daniel!" He steps into the room with his hands in his pockets grinning. "Yes?" He asks acting like he doesn't know what I'm going to say. "Why is there only one bedroom with only one bed?" He looks up at the ceiling over dramatically pondering, "well because we're sharing this room and the bed." "Nope." "Nope?" "Yes, nope." "Let's face it you're entirely okay with this, I'm going to take a shower. We can discuss this more later." Ugh! I stomp my foot in anger as he leaves the room.
"What time is that dinner taking place?" I look over to where I hear the voice is coming from. Holy moly! What the fûck. He came out with only a towel around his waist. Water still dripping down his abs. No. Focus. I think for a moment, "a-around 6:30, and get some clothes on!" "Perfect, just enough time to get ready then." He winks, I roll my eyes and start fixing up my makeup. I turn around to start unpacking a bit, except there is something is a slight problem. Daniel decided he wanted to change in this room and is sort of blocking the door. I hear the towel drop from him and him unzipping his suitcase. Damn! He actually is changing. I turn a new shade of red and pray he won't come over here naked. After some time he finished and walked up to me resting his chin on my shoulder. "You're not wearing that, are you?" He says in a confused manner. I look at him realizing he is wearing a dressy shirt and nice pants. I'm wearing a old t-shirt and jeans. "Well I was but now I'm feeling judged so I'll change." I huff and puff out my cheeks trying to find a dressy casual dress. "So cute." I here him whisper and watching me in an amused way. I finally just pick out a simple classic little black dress. You can't go wrong with one of them. I step into the washroom to put on my dress but I can't get the zipper up myself. Cassy don't do it. I look at the door and reach for the doorknob. It's just zipping up my dress. It will be fine.
"Um, can you help me." He looks up from his phone raising one eyebrow. Then smirks, "of course darling." He walks up to me and he starts to pull up the zipper but his cold hands touched me, which made me jump. "Why so jumpy?" His hot breath fans my neck making me realize how close he is. "Right, well thank you. Should we get going now?" "I guess so."
We arrive promptly at 6:30. We walk up to the door hand in hand and ring the doorbell not knowing what to expect. I could hear footsteps slowly getting closer and for some reason I'm nervous. My grip tightens on Daniels hand. The door opens. Stacy? My eyes widen in surprise. "Ahhh! Cassy!! I'm so happy you're back! And whose this hunk of handsome you brought with you?" As I'm about to answer Julie comes up to me and hugs me. "I'm so happy you came to visit." She tells me,"well I'm happy to be back." "Ahem. May we enter?" I hear Daniel getting impatient. "Oh yes!" Stacy says motioning us in. We enter the house and it looks exactly the same as the day I left it. Not one thing has changed. We take off our shoes and start walking straight to the dinning room.
"Your father is in the kitchen finishing up dinner. He'll be out soon." We walk into the room and not too much, but somewhat to my surprise was Cory. Of course. "Sorry! I had no idea that he was coming tonight. I know your breakup was bad but you were really happy when you were with him." Stacy whispered into my hear. "There are placement cards if you want to sit at the seat you're supposed to." Says Julie nervously, "I'm not the one who picked the places though, your dad did." I walk around to try and find my place. Daniel sits down at the end of the table and I assume I should be beside him. I'm not. "Where is my dâmn place!" "Your place is right next to me babe." I hear a cocky voice from the other side. "No fücking way I'm sitting next to you. My boyfriend will be on the opposite end of the table and I would have to listen to your stupidity all night. Julie I'm taking your place next to Daniel, sorry." I grab my name tag and Julie's then swap them. Perfect.
My father soon walks into the room with all of the food and sets it onto the table. I glare at him the whole time, every so often I switch to Cory who is staring at me. "Why is Julie sitting here? Cassandra this is your spot." My father sits down. "I would much rather sit here" I say in a dark manner. He shakes his head in disappointment. It's not like it's the first time.
Dinner continues alright. I mean it's insanely awkward and everyone disagrees on everything. "You know, I never understood why you and Cory broke up." Oh no he didn't. He did not just say that. "Honestly sir, I have no idea either." Rage, pure rage.  "It's a long story dad, but to sum it up, he's a total asshöle." "Why? He's a great young man, has a bright future, and he's a part of the community." He says this like he means it which disgusts me. "I for some reason though this trip would be fun. I thought there would be some family bonding time, but you didn't even invite mom. Did you think I wouldn't notice? You still hate being in the same room with her? And worse of all, you try to set me up with a guy for broke my heart beyond repair when you knew I had a boyfriend. In this moment, you disgust me!" I can feel my heart pumping out of my chest and my face burning red from anger. "I'm taking Daniel and we are leaving, thanks for coming Stacy and Julie." I'm about to stomp off when Daniel stops me. "Wait, I'm inviting everyone here to Très Chic tomorrow at 7:00pm. Please wear formal clothing, and Cory, you're the only one not invited. Stay away." He smiles brightly and we leave the house in a hurry. "I'll invite your mother" I smile, "thank you."
We enter a cab stationed outside the house. I'm assuming Daniel knew that this night would be cut short. "To the Hotel Luxe please." "Wait. Bring us to the best bar in town." I say quickly. Daniel stares at me wide eyed.

I wrote this chapter in the most random places. It was later, yes. I went on a crazy nice trip to Quebec though. Plus I made my younger brother a Xbox cake today. Anyways, I'll update pretty soon since school ends this Friday for me. Graduation is Monday night. Thanks for reading!
