*Ring ring* The sound of an alarm clock wakes me up but I'm still half asleep. I turn around to turn it off when I come face to face with 'him'. It takes me a moment to realize but when I do I practically scream. That's when all my memories from yesterday come flooding back and I greatly fear for my life. I had only fallen asleep 2 hours ago and I'm exhausted and really warm because he's been holding onto me all night! You would've thought he would have moved in his sleep or something. But no. I try to get up but even now his grip is to tight. I lay back down, pout, and just think about what awaits me today.
I can feel him shake the bed when he starts to move. I look the opposite way from him so I won't make eye contact. He lets out a sigh then says "good morning sunshine" then silence. I won't answer. "I know you're awake." The way he said this gave me chills, not to mention his stare that's burning a hole through my skull, and his breath on my neck. I turn around reluctantly "morning" "ah, it's such a treat to wake up beside you" he smiles brightly but I have no idea how much of an act it is. The only thing I can think of is that his barely dressed, that I actually slept beside him, and of what he just said. My mind is confused and I can feel my face heating up. "Don't say things like that" I practically whisper "what, you mean the truth?" He asks this almost straight faced but I can see a smirk creeping onto his face. What a liar... "Anyways I'm excited for today, though I'm not to sure you'll be to happy about it." My face drains of all color. I forgot because of his stupid comment. I'm most definitely not ready for this.
Out of no were I hear a knock at the door and Mary walks in. I smile "Mary you're back, are you feeling any better?" "Yes I'm feeling a good deal better, it was mostly thanks to Mr. Vansteign who let me have some time off to rest." I don't even look over at him and continue to chat with her. "Well Miss, I've brought you and Mr. Vansteign some breakfast" "finally" I hear Daniel say under his breath. I just glare at him. She walks into the room fully with a cart full of food. The smell of the food is amazing! *growwwwel* oh.... I hear both Mary and Daniel laugh while I sit in embarrassment. "Well you may leave now, me and Cassandra will eat seeing that she is starving" he chuckles. Mary bows her head, still trying to hold back laughter.
"This is the best food I've ever had!" I say with sparkling eyes and a mouth full of pancakes. Daniel sits there smiling occasionally and eats overall quietly. "I'm glad that you're enjoying it." In the distance I hear a phone ringing. He picks it up then states that 'he must take this call.' Oh well I'll just eat more of this bacon! Once I feel that I might explode if I take another bite, I put my fork down and start to ease drop on his conversation. "No! I'll be back tomorrow, don't you dare make any important decisions without me!" A pause. "My whole company rests on the line! Like I said I'm busy with an important matter today. If you do this you are fired! I don't care! This conversation is over." He slams the phone on his desk then stomps his way back to me. No wonder he's cocky... He's a young CEO. "I apologize for all the yelling, anyways shall we start the events for the day?" He's agitated and I would like to say no but instead I just stare wide eyed at him. "I'll take that as a yes."
He grabbed my wrists and dragged me through many hallways. The aura around the house was thick and gloomy. Anyone we passed just looked down and continued on. When I saw Asher with a bruise on his cheek and mouthed the words 'I'm sorry' I knew that what awaited me was not going to be pleasant. Yet the whole way down to the mysterious room I felt as if Daniel was smiling a cruel smile. We stopped at a door that when opened there were stairs. The stairs led to a single room that looks like it's never been used. "We're here" he says opening the door that led to my impending doom.
The walls were white, the floor was white, everything was white... It's an image that I will never forget. The only things there weren't white were chains and a table with unknown objects. I was so scared that I wanted to laugh, I realize now that I should have never tried to run. Not from a man like him. "Please enter" he said emotionless and I obeyed. He slammed the door then locked it, then motioned me to walk toward the table. Time seemed to move in slow motion and the sound of my walking seemed loud. He won't kill me yet. I know he wouldn't, he has some sort of use for me. I know it, but that doesn't mean he won't hurt me.
"Stand here." He said pointing to a wall with the chains. I stood with my back against the wall as he approached me slowly. The chains held my wrists above my head and made sure my legs could only move slightly. "Did you give Asher that bruise?" I choked out. He smiled viciously " it's none of your concern if I did" "what about me? What will you do to me?" I hold back my tears. "What I should have done in the first place. I do hope that you will learn your lesson after this, then I assure you that you will never have to go back here." A faint smile "after this it will be okay.".
