I went home. I had to... I had to tell my mom my grade. She was excited because of the song, before she loved it.

I brought my bike downstairs into the basement and took a deep breath before opening the door and walked in

"And??" My mom asked immediately

"Hello mom" I said

"Yea yea hello, what did you get??" 

"An A"

She smiled

"plus" I added and fake smiled

My mom and sister were freaking out. Not noticing how bad I actually felt. Guess I'm a good actor as well.

I rolled my eyes and went to my room and let myself fall on my bed

I decided to text Joy

Me: Help...

Joy: What's wrong??

Me: I don't know, if I can keep it from my mom & sis

Joy: Y don't u tell them

Me: Cuz when there is really something I can't c now, I don't wanna ruin my chances

Joy: Y?

Me: If my mom & sis knew, they would kill him

Joy: Mmhh... 

Joy: Can u meet up?

Me: Sure, when?

Joy: Now?

Me: Sure, where?

Joy: I'm in the park with Laika

Joy: Playground

I got up and went to the living room

"Where are you going??" My mom asked confused

"Meeting a new friend" I said and grabbed my keys and headphones.

"Okay, be save"

"Will be" I said and left for the park. I put my keys into the pocket and plugged in my headphones and started listening to my music as loud as my phone allowed.

Bree was still mad at me, so I walked alone in direction class room when I suddenly heard my name.

"SHAY!!" Someone screamed.

I turned around confused to see

"Joy?" She arrived the place I'm standing "What are you doing here??"

"I repeated 2 grades, so I'm in school with 18. Well, that's why I'm in my sophomore year and not my senior year"

"Wow... I just repeated on year. This one, because I wanted to"

"Well, I was a bad girl and didn't care about school and when I started caring, I became pregnant"

We entered the class room and Mason was sitting on my table

I took a deep breath 

"Move it!!" I said clod

He turned around "Why?"

"Your name might be King, but that doesn't mean you can act like one or that you are one or that you own everything!!"

"What are you going to do, if I don't move?? Call my mama??" He asked mocking.
