(8) Some Sister Time

I was lying on my bed reading a story on the internet, as I heard that my parents are fighting again and I had enough

I went to my sister's room and stopped in front of the door

"Knock Knock" I said before walking in

"Yes?" She asked

"Wanna get out of here??" I asked

"Let's go!!" She said

Then the two of us left without saying goodbye, not like my father really cared

We went to a playground nearby and sit down on the swings

"What's going on with you and Mr. Bad Boy??" She asked

"Nothing" I said annoyed

I stopped counting how many times I got asked that

"Doesn't look like it!!" She kept going

"Seriously, nothing is going on" I tried to make it clear

"Are you sure?" She asked again

"Liv!!!" 

"Shay!!" 

"Don't start that!!" I snapped back

"Okay... Fine" She said "How is the song going??" 

"It's done. And it's awesome" 

"No bragging there!! Can I hear it??" 

"It's a duet, I can't sing it without Mason" I said and I was kinda trying to get out of singing

"Okay, when are you both performing it??" She asked

"Tomorrow in school. It's been three weeks of working and we did it, so I can't wait to hear the responds of the song"

"Good luck for tomorrow" She said and I smiled

"Thank you"

We sat there for a while, but then we decided to go to get some ice cream

"A vanilla and a cactus ice cup"

The woman made the order and gave us the ice and I handed my sister the cactus ice cup

My sister has a weird taste of ice or weird taste at all

We walked to a bench and sat down

"Shay" A familiar voice said

I looked up "Kay, hey. What are you doing here??" 

"Just getting some ice cream. You got vanilla? So did I" She said 

"Liv, that's my friend and Mason's sister Kay. Kay, that's my sister Liv" I introduced them

"Hey" Kay said

"Hi" Liv said

"Well, I see you soon" Kay said and walked off and to some dude I have never seen

"Byyee" Liv and I yelled after Kay and she waved at us, without turning around

We ate our ice cream and left the place and went to a park nearby

And just kept talking about our parents and Mason, she just couldn't stop it

and guess who came over

"Hey there, didn't thought to see you here" Mason said and sat down on my lap

"Get up!! You are heavy!! Too heavy!!" I said and hit him, so he would get off but he didn't move a bit

"It's called muscles" He said and made himself even heavier
