Stars shone in the sky as bright as possible, telling that it had been Moon-high already. A silver-gray cat arose from her nest and looked around. A moment later, she quietly stalked out of the den full of sleeping cats, and stared at the sky. She took one last glance at the den full of dreaming cats and stalked out of the camp. As she crept on her walk came with more ease, and soon became a stride. Then she heard a crack on the cold forest floor and jumped, only to see it had been a sparrow after its Midnight snack. She quietly got into hunter's crouch and stalked the sparrow. The sparrow seemed to not have noticed her, to busy eating seeds and nuts off the ground. Then, she got a little closer, and leaped. The sparrow noticed, but it was too late the silver cat had already landed squarely on top of it, and bit its spine, killing it. She silently thanked her mentor in her head. She scooped up the sparrow and walked on in the deep forest. Her eyes desperately searched for a familiar brown pelt. Then, she heard leaves rustling under the weight of an animal. She turned, her eyes as big as the moon, then opened her mouth and let the scent soak her tongue and the sparrow dropped from her jaws "Looking for someone?" Came a voice close by. The silver cat recognized it right away. "Oak!" She yelped, excitedly. "Quiet down!" Oak hissed. "You don't want to wake the whole forest!" He joked. "Sorry" the silver she-cat purred. She pawed at the sparrow, "I caught this for you" she mewed. Oak looked at the sparrow and back at her then, smiled. "We can share it if you would like, you look as if you would eat a whole forest of mice, Silver!" He purred. Silver purred with him, "I would love that!" She let him take the first couple of bites, then gobbled down the rest. Before she could say something else Oak prodded her, "Follow me!" He meowed. Then, she stalked off into the brambles. Silver leaped after him, and finally caught up. "Where are we going?" She went on until she got an answer. "Somewhere" Oak answered, focused on the path under his paws, not trying trip on any of the debris of the forest. Silver grunted, but hopped on. After a while of treading and hopping, they finally appeared at a narrow gorge. "Why are we here?" She asked. He just kept walking, and she followed. Until they arrived at a steep dirt way, leading down the gorge. "Are we going down there?" She was shocked. "Yep, now follow me," Oak answered. He lead her down the narrowing path and paused then glanced at Silver. There, the path had been broken apart, but a few mouse lengths ahead there laid a huge boulder. Oak looked at Silver once again. "We'll have to jump" Oak whispered. Silver was terrified of the thought of having to jump that far, but she would try for Oak. Oak looked at the rock again, then he hunched his back and leaped. He landed squarely on the rock, then looked at Silver eagerly. Silver looked nervously at the deep cliff below, before she would change her mind, she leaped, bunching up all her muscles and strength. When she landed only her front paws caught the rock, and her legs dangled. "Help!" She yowled. "I'm coming!" Oak chirped, then, grabbed her scruff and pulled her up. "Thank you!" She gasped, and Oak nodded. Then lead her on, until they were at a beautiful waterfall with moss growing all around it. Silver stared in awe at the amazing place. Then there she saw two moss nest lined with soft feathers. "It's beautiful!" Silver gasped. Oak nodded and smiled, "I knew you would like it" Oak mewed. After a while of talking and playing they both tiredly curled up in the nest and slept
