Chapter 10? (Princess Tari’s/Ravaonna’s POV)

My plan was going to fall apart. If Legolas and Gorell leave tomorrow for Lothlorien, all my work will be for nothing. I paced back and forth in front of a window that overlooked the training grounds.

Before I deal with the Princes, I knew I would have to get rid of Renyon and Elinon. Maybe if I influenced some guards I could get them to kill the two elves.

I felt a smile creep onto my face, and Arath flew to my shoulder, cawing loudly. “I’ll rid myself of those two, I promise.” I cooed to Arath, “And we’ll crush him, and rule Middle Earth, just us.”

I regained my composure, and walked towards the balcony, hand reaching out to open the glass orb to talk with him. “Good evening, My lord.” I started respectfully, bowing.

He returned the bow, and smiled at my raven. “Ah, I haven’t seen Arath in a while, he looks healthy.” He commented. “What have you been feeding him, Ravaonna?”

I smiled, turning to my little pet, and scratched his beak, which made him crow with pleasure. “Mice, the occasional grape or something. Whatever he can kill in the forest around here.” I let out a chiming laugh. “If he could kill an elf, I would let him eat it.”

Suddenly, he looked serious. “Thinking about elves, what about those two; Renyon and Elinyon. Have you removed them yet?” He asked, a superior look I hated slipping onto his face.

“I advise ridding them in the nearing war would be the best.” I told him, placing a light smirk on my face. “I’ll have the pleasure of watching the life drain out of the elf named Renyon! Disrespectfully little pig!”

“I’ll allow you that, but I wish you to find the elven girl named-”

“Another quest for me? You don’t understand how busy I am anyways, so why can’t you get someone else to retrieve this elven girl you fancy. I am struggling with making sure Gorell doesn’t suspect me for not being who I really am!” I yelled, feeling a little worn out.

“You told me last you were not having problems with the Princes.” He stated, raising an eyebrow at me.

“I’m not having problems with Legolas! I’ll just have to kill Gorell when the time comes. Legolas’ mind has been weakened with the loss of this elf called Elemmire, she-”

“That’s the elf I want.”

“Why? She’s most definitely dead. He sent her away to a safe place on her horse 10 years ago, and he hasn’t ever heard even a whisper of her name. She’s gone, and it is to our advantage.” I said, a little bit of jealousy washing through me.

“She is a very powerful elf with slight...powers she received from the Fire flower. She wouldn’t die that easily, Ravaonna.” He informed me, staring me down.

“Well, she’s gone now.” I told him bitterly. “They found a lead about her location a couple days ago, and they came back, and concluded she was just a human working for an elf named Reinya in the farthest village from Mirkwood.”
