Jacob on his way to Snowden looked around and saw that it was quieter than it was and then remembered that he had killed some monsters on the way to Hotlands. He felt bad for the monsters he killed ,but focused on getting "home". As he is thinking that he realizes that his goal was to get to the surface. He decided to drop by sans house say that he escaped and only Papyrus died. Also that the killer killed Undying too. And he did exactly that ,and it could not have gone better. sans just said,"cool." Then he traveled all the way back to Hotlands to continue his journey to the surface. He stayed at the Metteton Hotel and fond out about a person named Metteton. He did that by guessing there is one because it is the name of the hotel. His next goal was to get to Asgore who he herd about by everyone in the hotel. He was the king so he must know how to get out of here. The place where he is right up the corner from where Jacob is so it should be a quick walk.
