A Different School Year

Shane's POV:

"And then after school you will have to go and..."

After that I zoned out, a habit of mine.

I knew that Mr. Anderson was just telling me this so I knew what was going to happen today but I to be honest I didn't care. I always thought you should live life at the moment, but apparently being son of the richest men in the United States didn't let you do that often.

I looked out the window as I rode to school. School. I've never been to an actual school, well I mean I've been home schooled and stuff but never been to a public school. Why did my dad think was this was a good idea in the first place? Having a normal life at this age, a little too late dad.

I smiled to myself. I knew he was just trying to keep me entertained and happy, that's what he always did.

"Sir, sir are you even listening?" Mr. Anderson questioned

"What? Sorry I zoned out" I replied.

" you would" he told me chuckling.

" what were you saying?"

" I was explaining how you need to act in school, because believe it or not they have rules in school. I know you aren't used to those but it'll be a nice thing for you to learn" he joked.

" well if I don't like them I'll just go back to home school" I told him with a smirk.

He sighed which told me I had won the argument.

" we're almost here , sir"

" how many times do I have to say that I preferred to be called Shane?"

"Fine. Shane, we are at your school."

"Kay. Thanks. See you later then" I said stepping out of the car.

Joeys POV:

I was on the bus on my way to school.

Ugh school. Not that schools like terrible, just lonely. My friends are there for me but I'm tired of being single. Sure if I wanted to I could get a girlfriend, but that was the thing I wanted a boyfriend not a girlfriend.

Not many cute boys went to my school though and I wasn't fair. Everyone at school knew I was gay but no one seemed really bothered by it.

At first there was a few jokes about it but eventually they just kinda melted away.

Hopefully this year will be different with a lot more interesting things happening. A relationship, maybe? Hopefully.

Before I knew it we were at school. I looked around. Catching a few smiles from some girls I was not interested in.

I walked into the school. Looked for my locker. As I was getting my things into the locker, I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I was greeted by one of the hottest guys i ever seen. His reddish brown hair seemed to match perfectly with his beautiful blue eyes. He looked like he had just stepped out of a movie, and as if he was staring perfect Prince Charming.

"Uh, hey my name is shane and I'm new here. Um I was wondering if you could show me around maybe I mean you don't have too."

I smiled at him and said " sure I'll show you around no problem. My name is Joey by the way"

And with that I earned a wide melting smile from him.

*after school*

I had not left Shane's side since when I met him.

Oddly enough we had a lot of classes together. I had learned a lot about him, like how lonely he was because he is always moving and he doesn't tend to become attached to people.

How he really enjoyed film making.

How his dad cared about him.

How mr.Anderson bossed him all the time.

Now we were walking from the park to my house to hangout even more. I couldn't seem to have enough of shane for a day.

" so um do date a lot?" I asked shane as we walked.

Where had this question come from?

" uh not really I mean I can't seem to ever find the right guy and I move a lot so yeah" he answered

"Wait did you say guy?" I questioned and stopped walking.

" yeah I'm gay." He told me proudly

I smiled at him.

This was perfect

"Shane" I started "I'm gay too"

I smiled at him.

I knew this was fast but I knew I was in love with shane. His beautiful blue eyes. He's perfect personality of a mix between funny, caring, nice, and just amazing.

What I did next I couldn't control myself to do.

I leaded in and kissed him. He was kissing back and it felt so perfect.

He slowly pulled away with a smile on his lips.

This morning I asked for an interesting year and with shane here I knew it was going to happen, and as for the relationship. Well let's just say that after what just happened, shane was soon going to be mine.
