"You are going to die here."A voice of a young girl entered the boy's ears like a gentle breeze, but with a shear force of hostility and malice.
"...."
The boy himself had just woken up from a strange dream like state. He was met with a bright white light that almost feels like a stinging sensation that forced his eyes to squint, nevertheless he was blinded for a short period of time.
Instinctively he used a hand to block the seemingly endless array of bright light; all he could perceive is a blur until he could finally regain a decent reselution.
Shortly, he finally manages to see clearly.
Then, as he peered in between his fingers, he saw something that did not make any sense.
It took him for a short while to realize that he was already standing on his two legs. What was odd about that, is the fact that he could not remember what happened. More importantly, how can he'd been woken up if he were standing? In fact, normally a person would be lying down.
As if a portion of his brain is being suppressed by his own will.
Like a rejection of reality and truth.
With blinking eyes, he became speechless of what he saw next.
The world was empty. No buildings, no landmass, not even the grass he expected to see, even for once. What's left was the unnatural bluish hue of the sky along with clouds with a constant random motion, and yet there was no sun despite the fact that light existed. He then sensed the ground beneath his feet which were perfectly flat that seems to stretch as far as the eye could see.
The floor, if its the right term, was beyond absurdity; being flat with no ups and downs, not even a mere centimeter fault; it is even clear enough to make a reflection out of the sky and the boy.
The concept of north, south, east and west poles no longer(?) exists.
He is already failing to get a simple grasp of his own situation.
H-how did I ended up here?
Where am I?
What am I doing here?
He asked to himself as a pricking pain assaults his heart, like it waa aching with a burning feel to it. The fear of ignorance is completely different in terms of effect for him.
As if being trapped inside an enclosed building, not knowing what lies beyond the walls; psychologically forced into ridiculous imagination; asking to himself 'what is happening?'
More question appeared at the back of his mind. Unfortunately he keeps failing to remember even the slightest piece of memory.
He then caught on to the most pressing question of them all..
Who am I?
He couldn't recall what happened to him before he entered such oddity.
No name.
No information.
Even the time spent in this void.
Not that it matters or even existed in the plain to begin with.
He begun questioning his very own existence. Living in a shallow world that doesn't mean anything at all.
Like his entire mind had been whiped, down to his remaining memories of 'how to breathe'.
The only thing that remained in him was the last (unnatural) strong emotion he has.
But what? And to whom? Why?
Then, as he was about to lose hope, a girl appeared infront of him, relatively distant from where he was standing.
"You're in my world now." said the girl(?).
The boy did not understand what her intentions are, she was carrying a bladed weapon by her left hand and her eyes seems to be glaring daggers at him for reasons he couldn't comprihend.
As he recognized(?) the face of the girl, he clenched his fist and placed it on his chest where his heart resides.
He didn't understand why, but he has to.
Somehow, what ever remains in his mind palace; the bits and shattered pieces of his memories, he clearly understood what he needs to do next.
He merely stared right back at the girl, unsure of his own involuntary actions. He was already giving up on comprehension, all he did was to follow his own selfish instincs.
His own selfish desires that somehow remained in his heart.
While facing an (un)known enemy, he made sure that all of him was in the right places before anything else.
All that is left of him.
Was the resolve to save...
