Chapter 16

Chandlers POV...

I dial 911 and ask for an ambulance. Claire lies there helpless, come on.

"Come on Claire, you gotta wake up, you have to!" I said.

I hear the loud sirens and carry her out to the ambulance and cry as they lay her on a stretcher. There was blood all over my tux and on my hands.

"Do you think she's gonna make it?" I asked.

"The way I see it, she's lost a lot of blood, I don't think she would." He said.

All the flash backs and how it was when Claire and I first met. All the danger I put her through. She saved me because she loves me.

I sit in a chair and I hear the beeps repeat which mean there's a possibility she's alive.

Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep...

I catch my breath and I see the breathing mask over her face. The I.V in her vain, she's not gonna make it. Her face was pale and her lips were solid purple, I don't have doubts on her. Then I heard a big thump.

"Ch-Chandler..." She whispered which made me smile.

"Yes Claire? Yeah I'm listening?" I asked.

"Please, take care of Winnie and Will, it's my time, I know you don't want this." She said slowly.

"I will Claire, why can't you stay?" I asked.

"Because." She said.

"Why?" I asked once more.

"I need blood..." She said.

"DOCTOR!" I screamed.

They rush in and there faces look worried.

"I am gonna need something to transfer blood!" I said.

"Claire is blood type AB what are you?" They asked.

"Thats exactly what I am!" I said.

"I'm gonna save you Baby, your gonna mother my kids..." I said.

"Our." She corrected.

3 hours later...

My head started to feel a little drowsy all color and shape took back to Claire.

She looked like herself again. I hear screams in the hall way and I knew that was Frank. My dad and my mom followed as they rushed in. Winnie was crying and Will was playing with his Cars.

"What's gonna happen?" Winnie asked afraid.

"Your mother is in pain right now, all we're gonna have to do is pray for her Winifred." I said as tears stream down Winnie's face.

I wipe the tears from her cheek and then i remembered when I rubbed the year away from Claire's Cheek and told her it's gonna be alright. That's when she was 14 and her mom died.

Winnie rushes out and cries. Will's face looses color as soon as he sees what's going on.

"Mama?" He said running into the room we aren't welcome in anymore.

He cries laying at her body and I felt heart broken. My moms make up get ruined and my dad starts to cry. Claire's father stands there and I see tears go down his face slowly followed after another.

William is still standing by his mother and I stand at the door. His lips started moving so I move in closer to hear.

"Mama, I just want you to know I love you. What ever happens I know you'll always love me. I know your in pain but it would be nice if you stayed a little longer. To see my children get older. Sometimes people won't get to see stuff like that." William said.

He looks at his mother and grabs a scrap book. That's the book he always carries around.

"Winnie told me you and Daddies love was more vibrant and enthusiastic than anything. I love you mama, it's okay if you go. I'll be sad if you do. Mama I wish you didn't go to that dinner party so we could spend a lot more time together." William said hugging his mom.

Then Winnie comes in and sits by her.

"Will, could Mom and I have some time together?" Winnie asks.

"Yeah, sure." He said.

After he left Will started to ball.

"Mom, I understand your in pain. Your story book would end beautiful if you stayed alive. You and dads love was beautiful, I hope I can be happy like you guys. It kind of sucks how we may loose you so quickly. Mom, I just want you to know I love you. Yeah I get in trouble a lot but that's what mothers do. They correct you when you mess up. Yeah, I went behind your back a lot but I know you love me. Your my mom, I love you." She said crying and gasping while crying.

"And I'm sorry this happened because I love you! More than to the moon and back. If I got to pick any person in this world to be the best mom, I would pick you! I don't know how to put this but, I wanna be like you, lawyer. I'm gonna go to Yale, or Harvard. Which ever I chose I'll be happy because I'll get to be put in your shoes. I'll have kids exactly like you, I wanna live a life exactly like you. I idolize you mom, I love you, your this strong woman. I wanna be like you, but I want you to see me be that!" She finished.

She puts her hand on Claire's and Claire's hand squeezes hers.

"Be that, my beautiful first daughter. Be something I was but better. Your beautiful, your gonna get married to a handsome young man. Don't let anyone tear you down. You might not know I'm watching, but I am!" Claire said as a tear streamed down her face.

The siren started going crazy.

Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.

She closed her eyes and Winnie started crying.

"Mom! Mom, in sorry!" She said.

I grab Winnie and pull her to the waiting room and she cries in my arms. We all cry as a family and William is hugging everyone.
