Dear readers,

OMG I'm sooooo sorry about being so late in my update I was so busy lately. ~sighs~ It's just a long story. But Everything is all good now so it's all peachy. I'm back and updating just like before. I made this one a long chapter just for you guys so I hope you guys like it. It may seem like a lame and slow story but I'm trying to work my way up and not like rush into the whole werewolf thing but I'll be getting to it next chapter...maybe lol. It's just you know a little awkward with a story I've never writen like this before and I hope you guys like it.

Ok!!! So what did you guys think? good not good?

Song of the day - Auburn ~perfect two (because well it's in the story so it's self explanatory lol)

Love you all

“So Daphne tells me your from an orphanage in California…originally.” Nyx spoke out break the awkward silence in the car.

I glanced towards him and nodded, “Yeah…a family I lived with for a week took me in they moved out of state and turned out they couldn’t…handle me anymore…whatever that means.” I explained with a simple shrug.

“That must have been tough.” When he spoke it came out as more of an indirect statement. One that didn’t need to be answered but I found myself compelled to answer it anyways.

“Not really…you learn quickly after being in an orphanage for as long as I have, that people don’t normally stay around for very long.” I rested my head against the cool glass window.

The rest of the car ride turned out to be extremely quiet after our little conversation. The conversation may have been some sort of ice breaker, but it didn’t stop the awkward silence afterwards. All I could really find myself doing was staring out the window watching as the beautiful scenery whizzed past us in a fast yet pretty blur. Large tall trees filled with foliage, big bright green bushes lined up all over the woods we passed. It was amazingly beautiful. I liked it here, the area around us, the house I was living in, this new family –minus one creepy anger filled bipolar Malic.- it was a place I would hope to actually live at for a while. Maybe I could become apart of this family. I felt my lips twitch a little in a small smile at the idea of actually being apart of a family for the first time in 9 years. Like an actual family, one that did have kids but just wanted me to join them; like the Wulfrith’s.

“You alright Cruz?"

I glanced towards Nyx, noticing that in my pondering thoughts we had made it into town, and were parked in front of a big mall-like building. It looked like a mall but you never know in an unknown place. The building was huge, 2 stories from what I could see on the outside. Turning back to Nyx, he was leaning on the steering wheel with an amused glint in his pretty green eyes while watching my movements. He looked a bit more laidback compared to when we were in the house. Maybe he didn’t feel comfortable around everyone. Maybe he liked to be alone or at least be around a small amount of people. Or it could be that I am one of the people that doesn’t actually try to cause him physical harm.

I smiled a little shyly and nodded, “Ya…just thinking to myself.”

He continued to stare at me for a few long moments, before leaning back in his seat tapping the steering wheel a few times, “I see…then do you want to go inside now? Or would you like to continue staring at me and ‘thinking’” he asked in a teasing tone.

I felt my facial features flush red realizing that I did just stare at him before answering his question. I pursed my lips a little giving him a playful glare and getting out of the car. Nyx quickly followed after me while I walked away towards the big building.
