"What the bloody hell were you doing leaving the safe house?" Ron bellowed angrily as he threw his hands in the air. "Were you even thinking?"
"I got nearly damn killed just now! You don't want to mess with me, Weasley." Draco responded in a low whisper as he shook his head.
"You wouldn't be in this mess if you hadn't left--"
Hermione rolled her eyes as she slammed her hand on the table, garnering everyone's attention. "Shut up!" She shouted as she leaned back in her chair. "We were only going back to my flat because I wanted to get some of my belongings. He was just doing something I asked!" She snapped at Ron, her eyes never leaving him. "I would've died if it weren't for him." She admitted, her eyes flickering over to Draco. "And I thank him for saving me back there,"
Ron let out a groan as he ran his hands through his hair. Without another word, he walked out of the office, slamming the door behind him.
Ginny sighed. "I'll go talk to him," She said, quickly leaving the room.
Harry pressed his lips together, leaning against the wall as he stared at the duo. "Are you two okay?"
They nodded.
"Ron just needs time to ... cool off. He was just really scared back there, I hope you understand." He defended his friend with a small apologetic grin. "So you two were in Hermione's flat and the place was destroyed?"
They nodded.
"And when you went into your bedroom to grab some clothes, that's when Malfoy found the bomb?"
"Precisely, Potter." He responded with a curt nod.
"A bomb?"
"A bomb," Draco repeated and got up from his seat. "Whoever put the bomb in the house is knowledgeable in muggle contraptions. And if we were to suspect Abaddon or one of his followers, then I think it'd be safe to assume someone in that group or Abaddon himself read up on some muggle studies." He stated, crossing his arms across his chest. "Whoever we're up against, he's dangerous."
Harry frowned at the thought and rubbed his eyes. "Nothing's adding up,"
Hermione looked down at her hands, then up at her friend. "What do you mean?"
"Abaddon's attacks are random, there are no connections among all the places he's attacked. And leaving you alive, that's a surprise but a blessing. And now, a bomb being placed in your bedroom? Nothing makes sense right now. Why would he want to kill you with the bomb? If this is all a game to him, he wouldn't want to kill you so quickly. And if he wanted to kill you, wouldn't he have done it himself?"
"Where were his attacks, Harry?" Hermione asked, chewing on the inside of her cheek as she got up from her seat, walking over.
"Uh, first attack was at Flourish and Botts, then Gringotts Banks, then Borgin and Burkes, Eeylops Owl Emporium, then the hospital, and now your flat." Harry answered, rubbing the back of his neck. "I don't know if we're missing things or if he's just mental."
Hermione looked over at the files and maps sprawled out on the table. "Uh, may I?" She asked, pointing to the table.
"Be my guest, Hermione. We need all the help we can get and I'm sure you can help us find something we might have missed ..." Harry said, sitting down in his chair in defeat.
Hermione examined the files and studied the map. "Harry, do you have a quill and something I could write with?"
"Sure," Harry said, leaning over and grabbing her some parchment and quill and ink. "What is it?"
