Chapter 5: Broken Heart

Yumoto pouted as he looked around. He eyed Kinshiro working on paperwork and giggled as he walked over to him. "You know! Too much paperwork can be bad for youuuu~!" Yumoto said in a singsong voice as he smiled. Kinshiro chucked as he put his pen down. "Oh? Then that means you must be in perfect health!"

Atsushi smiled as he saw the two and En chuckled. "I wonder if Yumoto will ever give him a break." "He will, Kin-chan will play along and ask him eventually to leave."

Io looked at Ryuu and sighed. "Are you actually texting girls or are you still just pretending to, instead of telling the others that we're a thing?" Ryuu looked up at him, "Actually, I was looking at things on the internet. Girls have just been annoying me lately."

Io nodded and just sat back in his chair.

Later:

Kinshiro sighed as he sat in his chair in the Student Council office. He now remembered why he hated paperwork...but it had to be done. Akoya looked up as he heard the door open.

"You! Get out of here!" Kinshiro growled and Akoya looked at Kinshiro. "What do we do, President?"

"Nothing...you're coming with me...Caerula Adamas!"

With the Defense Club:

The five of them didn't hear anything happening, so they decided to relax for a while. En and Atsushi rambled on about things while Ryuu and Io were basically sitting on one another.

Wombat was curled up by Yumoto's feet, he was actually sleeping. Yumoto was too busy being asleep to cuddle the pink creature, so basically the two of them were actually relaxing and not either a. trying to run away or b. try to cuddle the alien to death.

Atsushi looked up as he felt a shock from his lovraclet. "Damn...well we better get rid of this monster." En sighed and the others nodded. "Someone wake up Yumoto..."

"I'll do it." Atsushi smiled and went over to the first year. "Yumoto...wake up, there's a monster." Yumoto's eyes popped open and he nodded, "Let's go!"

They all quickly transformed and ran out of the building to see a...? "A flower monster...?" Scarlet said, unimpressed with it all, and laughed. "Well, let's get this done with...right?"

The others nodded and Scarlet quickly pulled out his love stick. "Scarlet Lumiere!"

The flower monster growled as it was hit and Scarlet looked very confused as it didn't even get back up. "Uh...was I really that strong?"

"I should have known to use a stronger monster..."
"You! What are you doing here?!" Scarlet growled and then gasped as he saw Tungsten take out a weapon he had never seen before.

"W-what's that...?" Scarlet asked and Tungsten smirked, "I'll show you!" He pointed it at Cerulean and Scarlet gasped out as he was shot back into a wall. "Senpai!" Scarlet cried out and Vesta growled, "That wasn't cool!"

As he was running up to attack him, he was flung back into another wall. Sulfur gasped and then he was hit by it too.
"Are you really going to hide behind him again?" Tungsten laughed and Epinard growled, "Leave him alone! He's done nothing to you!"

"Stop protecting him! You could have fought with all of us, but you kept with Scarlet." Tungsten growled and Epinard rolled his eyes. "There's no way I'd join evil! I like protecting the Earth! Not destroying it!"

He then cried out as he was hit by the weapon and hit another wall farther back. Wombat ran up in front of Scarlet and growled. "Why do you want, Scarlet?!"

"I told you! I want his power!" Tungsten yelled and Scarlet clutched at his love stick. Wombat gasped as Tungsten held up a thin green needle. "Zundar may have been a failure...but with this, I can use the power of the weapon that Lord Hireashi gave me to make this needle more powerful!"

Wombat turned to Scarlet, "Quick! Run, Scarlet! He's going to try to break your power away from your lovraclet!"

Tungsten laughed, "Smart...!" He yelled and jumped in front of Scarlet. Scarlet looked down as he saw Tungsten grabbing his wrist that held his love stick. He screamed out as he was forced onto the ground and Tungsten knocked the scepter out of his hands.

"DIE!" He screamed and Scarlet began to scream out as he felt the needle go into the red heart on his bow. He felt tears falling from his eyes and he began to scream out more as Tungsten grabbed onto it. "L-L-Let me go!!" He screamed and tried to pull away. Wombat jumped on top of Tungsten and began biting and scratching at him.

"Get off of me, you overgrown rodent!" Tungsten screamed as he quickly stood up and tried to get Wombat off of him. Scarlet clutched at his chest and began to crawl away. "L-L-Love...Love...Out!" He screamed and Wombat gasped as the youngest passed out as soon as he turned to normal.

"Yumoto!" Wombat cried and ran over to him. "Dammit! I was too slow!" Tungsten growled and then began to laugh. "Too bad I have Caerula Adamas now...Lord Hireashi wants them dead next. Make sure you tell the Battle Lovers, Wombat." He smirked as he disappeared.

Wombat looked over Yumoto and sighed in relief. Luckily, it was only cracked a little. His power would be weakened now though...Wombat was just surprised that he could still undo the transformation.

He sighed...maybe it was time for More Better Battle Lover Scarlet to come around, but...he was still too weak for that. He'll have to get him stronger then...

He frowned, this was not going to be easy.

"Good work, Tungsten! Now we have Zundar's failed team, and you have weakened Scarlet!"

"Thank you, Lord Hireashi...Next time I will kill him..."

"Good, he's been foiling my plans for too long!"
