Chapter 6: Training

Luckily Wombat's planets magic fixed Yumoto's lovraclet and made sure it wouldn't crack again. Yumoto was happy but...he still didn't know what to do.

"Yumoto...we need to train you, so you can fight." Wombat stated and Yumoto nodded. "Then let's get this started!"

"I'm glad you're excited to start." Wombat smiled and Yumoto smiled.

Wombat made Yumoto transform along with the others. "Now, don't be easy on him...okay? It's okay if you hurt him, and it's okay if he hurts you. Try not to attack each other with your attacks though. Maybe just poke one another with your love sticks if you want, but if you want to attack him or he attacks you with his stick, attack him back."

"Right."

"Don't worry, we want him to be prepared! So we're not going easy on you, Yumoto!" Vesta taunted and Scarlet smiled. "You're on, Senpai!"

Cerulean turned to Epinard as the two clashed against one another. "Why are we doing this again?" Epinard sighed, "Well...Wombat says he's too weak to face our new enemy..."

"What a pain in the ass..." Cerulean complained and Epinard smiled, "Don't worry...this probably won't take that long..."

A Few Hours:

"I can't do it anymore, Wom-san!"

"You have to!"

"No! I'm tired!"

"Yumoto...stop complaining...you have to do this." Epinard sighed as he walked over to him. "NO!" Scarlet cried and pushed Epinard away. "I can't fight anymore! I hate fighting!!" Scarlet screamed and Wombat growled.

"If you keep up this attitude, you'll never save the Student Council!" He screamed and Scarlet gasped, "W-what...?" "He took them, he told me after you passed out!"

"W-why...why would he do this?!" Scarlet cried and Wombat shook his head. "I don't know...but you have to become stronger to get them back and let love prevail!"

Scarlet nodded and Epinard frowned. "Why didn't you tell us sooner?! We need to hurry and get them!" Wombat sighed, "I know! But Scarlet needs to be prepared to face them!"

"I know! But he...he can't transform into our More Better forms...!" Epinard frowned and Wombat looked down. "I know...but this is what this training will do! It will help him keep the transformation longer."

Scarlet looked down and sighed, "I'll try to get stronger...it's just hard..." "I know...but you can do it! Keep fighting, Scarlet." Wombat smiled and Scarlet nodded. "We have to save them! Even if they can transform too!"

"Then let's keep going!"

Scarlet pouted as Cerulean grabbed his wrist as he held up his love stick "En-chan-senpaiii!" He whined and Cerulean smiled. "Don't let your guard down." He poked at the heart brooch. "You'd be dead by now, if I was him."

Scarlet frowned and looked at Cerulean. "Don't pout Yumoto, we were told to not be easy on you." "Atsushi-Senpaiiiiiii!" He whined more and Epinard shook his head. "You heard him."

Wombat sighed, "If only you would keep yourself focused on this..." He looked up at Scarlet. "We're going to try something...Yumoto try to transform into your More Better self!"

Scarlet nodded and yelled, "More Better Love Making!" Wombat smiled and then gasped as Scarlet stood there in his normal form. Scarlet stared at his hands in horror and looked at Wombat with a worried expression. "Wom-san...?"

"U-uh...don't worry! You might not be strong en-I mean you probably just can't reawaken your More Better form at the moment because of how distressed you are." Wombat replied quickly and thought for a moment. "I think I know how to get it back!"

He turned to the other four Battle Lovers and sighed, "To get his other form back, you all have to give him some of your power, so it'll combine and your love will all be together!" Wombat smiled and the others nodded.

Scarlet watched as they all closed their eyes and began to glow. He gasped as he saw his heart brooch reacting to it. "Now!" Wombat yelled and Scarlet nodded. "More Better Love Making!"

Wombat smiled as Scarlet began transforming and the others watched. Scarlet smiled as he opened his eyes and looked at them. "Finally! Now we can defeat him!" He giggled and Wombat shook his head.

"Not yet, I'm afraid..."

"Why not!?"
"Just because you transformed, doesn't mean you can hold it long...last time you did this, it only lasted for a short while." Wombat explained and Scarlet frowned "No fair! If we can attack him while I'm like this, then we will win!"

"No. If you try to fight them right away, you will die." "Wom-san..." Scarlet frowned and gasped as Wombat looked up. "There's a monster...isn't there?" Scarlet asked and Wombat nodded, "Yes, this will be the ultimate test. Go fight it in your More Better form!"

Scarlet nodded and the five of them ran off to confront the monster. "Stop right there, you monster!" Scarlet yelled and the monster turned towards them. "Lord Tungsten! They've arrived!" It yelled and Cerulean and Epinard stood in front of Scarlet as Tungsten appeared. "Oh yes...nice to see you..." He laughed and Cerulean looked at Epinard. "Let's hurry and destroy his monster."

Scarlet felt his head as he looked around and Vesta looked at him. "Oi, you alright?" he asked and Scarlet smiled, "N-Never been better..." Vesta nodded and smiled back.

"Hurry and destroy this guy, Scarlet." Sulfur added and Scarlet nodded. "I will! Scarlet Lumiere!" He yelled and Tungsten growled as the monster was flung back.

Tungsten watched as that damn brat finished off his loveless without even breaking a sweat...that damn kid was strong...and he knew Lord Hireashi would not be happy with him...especially knowing that his monster was destroyed that quickly.

Scarlet smiled as he simply stated, "Love is over..." He gasped out slightly as weakness filled his limbs and his body became heavy. His eyesight began to become blurry and his head began to hurt again. He felt himself drop the large staff and then his knees hitting the ground...he was exhausted... "Scarlet!" Voices cried as his world became dark...
