The car comes to a halt.
The door opens and Veronica gets pulled out.
The 2 men lead her in to an old, abandoned building and take the tape off her mouth.
"What do you want from me?!"
"I think you know exactly why you're here"
"How do you know what happened?!"
"I have my ways, now shut up and tell me why you killed him!"
"You will never understand how I feel! He took my beautiful baby girl away from me. When he came back from prison, I was ready for revenge"
"He was doing an illegal job for me and he hadn't handed over the cash before you killed him. So wheres the money?"
"An illeg... what?!! WHAT MONEY!!? Like I'd bloody know. Today was the first day I saw him in 10 years and you expect me to know where he kept the money for this illegal job?!"
"You have until sunset tomorrow to find the $100 000 and return it to us at this address" the man said handing over a piece of paper with an address. "Now leave".
Veronica grabs her handbag and rushes out the door unsure of her next move.
"I need to get away." Veronica says.
"Far, far away"....
