Hey guys. This story is different then what I normally write. I normally write like sad/paranormal/fantasy stories, but this is realistic fiction/romance. So enjoy!

I'm laughing so hard it hurts, and tears all rolling down my face. I topple into the soft white sand. Drake lands next to me and laces his fingers through mine. "I love you." He whispers in my ear. I giggle like a little girl and tell him I love him, too.
It's the last day of summer, and tomorrow we start school again. Drake and I are entering our Senior year of high-school. What better way to spend the last day of freedom then being at the beach? Espeically when you live in Southern California.
Drake and I have been together since Sophomore year, but I'de had a crush on him since the seventh grade. When he finally asked me out on our first date I was so happy I fell out of my chair. He says that it was then he knew I was the one for him.
Drake scoops me up and carries me bridal-style down to the water.
"One...Two....Three!" He counts, while swing me back and fourth as if he's gonna throw me. But he wouldn't. He just sets me down.
We're ankle deep in the Pacific Ocean. Even though it's September, and in most places leaves are falling and weather is cooling it's still hotter then Hades. The refreshingly cool water laps at our ankles.
An idea flashes through my mind, and I follow through without thinking about it. I hip-check Drake and he topples into the water. He pulls me down, laughing the whole way.
When we get back up he picks me up by the waist and twirls me around. I feel like a girl in one of those movies. Except my denim cut-offs and tank top are soaked with salt water and my hair is a mess from the ocean breeze.
I wrap my arms around his neck and lean in so our noses touch. "You're my world, Skylar." He whispers. "But you're my Milky Way Galaxy, Drakey." I say smiling. "That's my girl. Always gotta be the one-up." He says, smiling back.
