Summer was just about to end, this was Cath's last night at home with just her dad and Wren.

Her and Levi had seen each other a few times over the summer, but he mostly spent time working at Starbucks and staying at the ranch. So Cath really missed him. Like, the feeling of not being able to see him for this long, made her stomach twist and turn.

She started to think of his swishy blonde hair that he would always mess with. Those sparkly blue eyes,  you could get absolutely lost in. His chin. Those eyebrows... Just Levi in general, made Cath feel like the luckiest girl alive. All the times they've spent together. Driving around, sitting on his lap whilst she read her fanfic to him, and all those intimate moments they shared. 

After a while, she eventually wandered off from "Levi thoughts", and decided to continue with Carry On. Over the summer she hadn't written much of it. She mostly focused on spending time with Levi and taking care of her dad - who she didn't worry as much about anymore. But throughout that time, she had written about 12000 words in total (with the help of Wren of course) and the read count was definitely still going off the charts.

It started to get late.

She heard her phone start to ring and picked it up from her counter top table. It read Levi.

"Cather!" Levi shouted.

She could practically hear him smiling.

Which made her smile...

"Hey."

"You ready for tomorrow?"

"Yeah, I guess..."

"Is something wrong...?"

"No, no. It's just.."

"Just..?"

"Nothing."

"Cather... You know you can tell me anything"

"It's just... How am I going to keep up with everything.."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, harder courses, keeping up with Carry On, my dad, Wren, us."

"We've always been able to work this out sweetheart. Together."

She grinned so wide her teeth started showing, she never really got used to Levi calling her sweetheart.

"Pick me up tomorrow?"

"Don't I always?"

"I miss you."

"I miss you too Cather."
