Summer's just begun and 16-year-old Elise Rockwood couldn't be enjoying the bliss anymore. That is, until her best friend Aurora Holmes, forces Elise to join the summer lounge, named RAL (Reactional Activity Lounge). With great difficulty, Elise ends up attending the program her best friend keeps urging her to.
Once she arrives, there's nothing more interesting than meeting the most trustworthy friends Elise has ever made. Brandon Ristovski, however, manages to catch Elise's attention when he comes back from his vacation from Cuba. Summer days go by, and the two spend time together as friends at the lounge.
