Mae POV
The skies turned into a dark and misty blue as the cold breeze started to settle in, admiring the view I had from my car windows as I drove to Jennifer's house. Jennifer had texted me whilst I was in Paris for the last day, explaining that she missed me and would love to see me again and I was more than happy to.
I knocked on her front door, feeling anxious but excited to finally see her again. During those few excruciating seconds of waiting for her to open the door and welcome me inside her home, I pondered whether or not I should confess to her that my ex-girlfriend had found out about us sharing some intimacy weeks ago.
''Hey!'' Jennifer opened the door and gave me a welcoming hug.
We sat down in her modernised dining area and talked for hours on end about our life. My whole body felt at ease, as if I had no longer had anything troubling me. I was mesmerised by her beauty. She had long loosely curled champagne blonde hair, nicely medium tanned skin tone, almond shaped blue eyes that always shines with a sparkle, a Greek shaped nose and beautiful rose pink lips. She had an absolutely gorgeous body too, it was petite and fit. She was perfect, even her personality was as perfect as her appearance, sometimes it was too good to be true.As the time passed by and it got later into the night, movies and cuddles were shared between the two of us. ''I want you. I want all of you, forever, you and me, every day,'' said Noah to the one he loved in The Notebook. Tears started to drop from my eyes as the dramatic scene continued but to my displeasure, it was paused by Jennifer. Why did she have to pause it as such a dramatic scene? I want to see what happens, I thought to myself. But little did I know that Jennifer was going to ask me such a serious but heart warming question. ''I know this is sort of crazy but ever since I met you, I have never stopped thinking about you. I am in love with you. Mae, will you be my girlfriend?'' More tears dropped down my cheeks in happiness and shock, and without a minute of thinking about her question, it was an instant yes from me even though deep down, I was still very much in love with my ex.
