Chapter 6- Virgin Mary

"So how's football going for you Julian?" my dad asked.

We were all sitting in my dads "mancave" it nice to be with them sometimes. As soon as my dad saw Julian he brought him down here to show off how perfect the room was.

With Signed photographs of him and famous sports players.

A bar (which is quite Amazing if I might add.) and a beautiful fire place with a 100 inch plasma sitting on top of it.

It's the perfect house for the perfect family image my moms trying to give off.

"It's going good Mr.Palmer. We are 7-0 right now I can tell it's going to be a good year. My mother says there is many scouts watching me during my games. Says I'm a big hit with with Ohio State."

"OSU huh? They are pretty good. I bet with you on their team they will be unstoppable. Isn't that right Ashely ?" My dad asks.

"Yea defiantly. They will be lucky to have you Julian." I say with a smile.

"Thank You. This is why my mom loves you guys." He says

"How it's your mother dear? Haven't seen here in a while." My mom asked.

"She's good. She's been trying to get all her stuff together for when I leave for college. God only knows how depressed she's gonna be. She is so controlling over my life doesn't even remember about hers. I think she might put the twins in football soon. They are turning 8 this year she's gonna get them started early." Julian says

"We'll you know how we mothers are so wrapped around our young ones. it's though to see them go. Especially since Ashlyn here is our only one. It's gonna be so hard." My mother says.

"Yea you know we should defiantly have dinner soon. Invite them over Tomorrow night. We can cook something up real nice and catch up in life isn't that right sweetie? " my dad says

"Yes! Please it would be amazing and wonderful to have you guys over. Ill call your mother right now an-" my mom was interrupted by Julian.

"Actually I have plans tomorrow night... With Ashely. It's why we came over actually. Ashely and I are back together now. And I wanted your approval Mr and Mrs Palmer to take her out for a date tomorrow night...?" Julian said.

There was a long silence in the room.

...." That's amazing! You have my approval. I guess we will just have to rain check yea ?" My dad said.

"Um yes sir. I'll let my mom know right away." Julian said.

"Great." He said.

Another Pause.

"... Well I should be going now. I have to be home for dinner tonight." Julian said.

"Oh alright.. I was nice seeing you Julian." My mom said

"You too Mrs.Palmer, Mr. Palmer." He shook hands with my dad and hugged my mom.

"I'll walk you." I said to him grabbing his hand.

Once we were outside he turned to me.

" Well that went great dontcha think?" he says.

"Yea they really love you. More then me I think." I giggled.

"Oh come on that's not true. They adore you. Just like I do. And it's crazy not to." He says steeping closer to me.

"Well you better be going you don't want to be late to 'family Diner'." I emphasize the last part.

He laughs.

" Yea about that. I'm really going out with the team I hope you don't mind?" he said/asked.
