Chapter 3

Caysen's POV
After I finished writing my suicide note, I walked into my fathers room and put the note on his bed. After I set the note on his bed I went into his bathroom and opened he medicine cabinet and grabbed his pain medication from when he got shot not to long ago. I sat on the edge of the bathtub and turned on the water then got in, I swallowed a handful of pain meds then I started cutting myself again.
Steves POV
Danny and I made our way to my house to see if Caysen had come home from school early. I was thinking that something or someone did something to her. I was teary eyed because I didn't know what had happened to my only daughter or if someone had threatened her or something. Wait I can't think like this. Earth to Steve Danny said trying to get my attention. Huh I said. You were out of it for a while are you ok Danny asked. No I'm just really worried about Caysen I answered sadly. So am I said Danny as we pulled into my drive way. We got out of the car and heard towards the house, as we approached the door it was opened just a little. I turned to Danny and saw the concern in his face as well as me. Danny and I both drew our guns and walked in. As we got to the middle of the living room we heard water running. I told Danny to check upstairs while I check downstairs. Danny's POV
When we got to Steves house we walked up to the door to only see it opened. I look at Steve who had a look of concern I'm pretty sure I had the same look. We both drew our guns. We walked into the middle of the living room, we heard water running. Steve told me to go check upstairs and he will check the kitchen to figure out where the running water was coming from. When I got up stairs the sound of the running water got louder, so I called down to Steve to tell him it's coming from up here. He yelled from downstairs saying ok. I walk down the hall and go into Steves room because that's where the sound is coming from. I walk into the bathroom and I'm horrified at what I see. It's Caysen she's in the bathtub unconscious and her wrists cut. I hurry and pull her out to make sure she's still breathing then I call for Steve. STEVE! I yelled. Steves POV
I was looking around downstairs to see if anyone had broken in. I was fixing to go look out back when I heard Danny yell my name. So I immediately run upstairs. I run into my bathroom to see Danny holding an unconscious Caysen. I run over to them and I check for a pulse. Danny call and ambulance her pulse is very weak. Danny got up and left the room to call 911. Baby please stay with me please don't leave me I say in tears. Their on their way now Danny said. Not to much longer they had arrived.
