Chapter 2

Caysen's POV

I really felt bad for yelling at my dad but I don't need him to worry about me because he already had enough to worry about I thought to myself. So after I walked into the school I went straight for the bathroom, because I needed to cut myself because I yelled at my dad just because I didn't want to tell what was wrong. I cut myself until the first bell rang, after it rang I cleaned myself up and went to class I knew I was late again like ever morning. As I walked into the class people were pointing and talking and laughing at me, tears started to brim my eyes I sped to the back of the class where I sit. Before I got a chance to sit down my teacher Mr. Winehouse called me over to his desk, he had asked me why I was always late to his class, I replied and said I don't know. Mr. Winehouse then asked if there was something going on at home, no nothing is wrong alright I whispered yelled. Mr. Winehouse didn't say anything he just sent me to my seat and told me to open up my text book to page 60 and do all of the problems. After about 10 minutes of doing work Mr. Winehouse left the class room, when he left the room people started calling me names like emo, useless, worthless, fat ass, slut, ugly. One of the popular kids Emily said why don't you go kill yourself no one cares about you anyway. After everything was said I got up with all of my stuff and ran out of the class and out of the school. I had ran all they way home while crying, when I got to the house I unlocked the door and ran up to my room. When I got to my room I slammed my door and then slid down the door crying, then after a while I walked into my bathroom to find my blade. I sat on the bathtub and started cutting my wrists.
Steves POV
I was at the crime scene talking to Danny and Kono about what they needed to do. After I told them what they needed to do we all headed back to headquarters to get to work. I have a hit on on the murderer who killed Miss Walker Kono said. Ok what do we have I answered. His name is Ryan Malley he is in his mid 30's with a rap sheet Kono answered. Alright I want Kono and Chin to go pick up Ryan and interrogate him. Alright boss they both answered. Danny and I are going to go to the last place the victim was last seen alive. As we were walking out of hq and heading over to Danny's car my phone started ringing. The caller Id showed Caysen's school name Milwakki Highschool, I started to worry. McGarrett I answered, yes hello Commander McGarrett, this is Mr. Jules and I would like to inform you that your daughter hasn't shown up to her last two classes. What do you mean that she hasn't shown up for her last two classes I answered slightly angry. What's going on Danny asked me while I was waiting for Mr. Jules to answer. I held up my hand to tell him to hold on. Well Commander her teachers told me she wasn't there for their classes and she was here earlier today, do you have any idea where and why she may have gone. No I don't I answered. Well I can check around the school and take a look at the cameras to see if she is somewhere in the school, I'll give you a call when I find something out Mr.Jules answered. Ok thank you I answered. Danny's POV
As Steve and I were walking out to the car he got a phone call. I was thinking of who would be calling him since we all just left hq and Caysen wouldn't be calling because she's in school, then I thought the worst that something bad had happened to her. No no I got to stop thinking like that I told myself. Steve what's going on I asked as he was talking on the phone. He put his finger out telling me to wait a minute. So I waited patiently until he got off the phone. Steves POV
Danny I just got a call from Caysen's school, she hasn't been to her last two classes I try to say calmly. What what are you talking about Danny asked with a concerned tone. Her teachers said that she was there this morning but now she's not I answered. I told the principle if he found out if Caysen was still in the school to call me so we will wait here until I get the call back. Can you call Chin and Kono and tell them what's going on and tell them to keep doing their job and not to come back, because we need to solve this case I asked Danny politely. Sure Danny answered. Caysen's POV
As I was cutting myself I was think about my family at hq and how they would feel if I were to kill myself. But then it hit me that they wouldn't care about just like Emily said I thought to myself as I started crying harder. I stopped cutting myself to write a suicide note to Aunt Kono, Uncle Chin, Uncle Danny, and Dad, I'm not going to write one for Grace because she doesn't need to know what I'm doing because she is only 8 and I don't want her dealing with my suicide. Steves POV
A few minutes after I told Danny what was going on I got another phone call from Caysen's school. Did you find her or what I asked concerned. No sir but I did look at the cameras and she had ran out of her first period class crying and it shows her going to her locker then running out of the school, so I'm thinking that she just went home Mr. Jules said. Alright thank you for everything I'll go check by the house. Danny she ran out of the school crying her eyes out I don't know what to think but what if something bad happened I told him with worry in my voice. Alright Steven you can't think like that lets go check you house she is probably there Danny answered reassuring.
