Chapter 4

No Ones POV
When the ambulance arrived, the two paramedics called out for us and Danny and Steve yelled up here. Once the paramedics got up there, one started checking her blood pressure and checking her pulse, and the other was wrapping Caysen's wrist. The lady paramedic whose name is Emily started asking Steve questions. Sir, what's your daughters name Emily asked. Her name is Ca-Caysen Steve answered through tears. Alright thank you sir, and one more question do you know what may have caused this Emily asked politely. No I don't Steve answered sadly. The paramedics put Caysen's on the back board to take her down to the ambo. As they picked the back board up Caysen was waking up. Peter the other paramedic said that she is waking up but he doesn't know how long until she will be out again. Steve rushed over to his only daughter and took her hand and said that everything will be ok, but then she started crying and pulled her hand back. Steve looked upset because of what Caysen did. Sir we need to get her to the hospital, said Peter. One of you can come with us in the ambo Emily said referring to Steve and Danny. Steve why don't you go with her Danny said, while I stay here and pack her a bag and meet you at the hospital.
Steves POV
I was shocked at what I have seen. I thought I was going to loose my only daughter and I still might. When the paramedics arrived they had started working on Caysen. Then Emily one of the paramedics started asking me questions about Caysen. Emily and her partner Peter were lifting Caysen onto the back board when she started waking up. Peter said that she was waking up, so I rushed over to Caysen and took her hand and said that everything will be ok. What took me by surprise is that she pulled her hand away from mine and turned her head away from me. Sir we need to get her to the hospital said Peter. Then Emily said that either Danny or I can go with them. Danny said that I should go and that he will stay and pack her a bag them meet us at the hospital.
We made our way downstairs and to the ambulance. Caysen wouldn't talk to me on the way to the ambo. But that gave me time to think of why she would do something like this and why he didn't see any signs. Once they got to the ambo and put Caysen in the back I got in. We were almost to the hospital when Caysen flatlined. Oh my god baby girl please don't leave please stay with me I shouted. Sir you need to back up so I can help your daughter Emily responded. I saw Emily do cpr on my baby girl and I couldn't do anything about it. After about two minutes Emily was able to get her pulse back. Once we arrived to the hospital they rushed her in and I followed as far as I could go until I was told to stay back and let the nurses do their job.
Danny's POV
When I found Caysen in the bathtub with cuts on her wrist and unconscious I started freaking out. Once I pulled her out of the bathtub and check for a pulse I yelled for Steve to come up. The look on Stevens face was of worry and concern. We called 911 and once the paramedics arrived they started asking Steve questions about Caysen, while I was sitting there confused and worried. Once the paramedics and Steve left I went to walk to Caysen's  room to pack her a bag, as I walking out of Steves room I saw a piece of paper on his bed. I picked up the piece of paper and started reading it.
Dear Dad,
I'm sorry but I can't take this pain anymore I just want it to end. I feel like this is the only way that it will end and fix everything. I'm worthless, useless, fat, and ugly and no one loves me or cares about me. It's not like you'll care nor will uncle Danny, uncle Chin and Aunt Kono. I have been bullied and been told to kill myself for years so I decided it was time to listen to them and kill myself. I'm sorry I love you, tell everyone that I love them even though you guys might not care. Good bye Dad.  Caysen
As I was reading the not I was in tears and after I was still in tears. I can't believe this happened to my niece and I can't believe she would think that we didn't care or lover her I said to myself. I took the note and folded it up and put it in my pocket. I went to Caysen's room to pack her a bag I grab clothes for her to to change into tomorrow morning. I also grabbed her phone her charger and her headphones. After that I called Steve to let him know that I was on my way.
