He asked me why his hearts so grey, while mine so full of color.

I told him that's what happens when one learns to love another.

He looked at me in shock, not knowing what to say.

Not because he understood, but because he didn't feel the same way.

I tossed and turned that night, my body set ablaze.

Intestines emptied themselves, while vision turned to haze.

Oh sorry,

I forgot.

You're a boy.

You disappoint.

You think differently than the rest, you speak words straight to the point.
You're oblivious and idiotic, you almost never connect the pieces.

So when it's time to iron the shirt, you think the wrinkles look like creases.

Intentional or not, my lights you will diffuse.

Which is how I really know that it's you I'm not to choose.
