Chapter Two✨

Alix Pov

"Alix! Wake up!"

I yawned and rubbed my eyes to the sound of Marinette screaming in my face, cause that's exactly how I would like to be woken up. Not.

"I'm uppp." I groaned.

"We're about to leave for the big hike. You need to be ready in like 5." Alya warned.

I sighed and dragged myself out of my warm sleeping bag, and got dressed to go on a hike. Right when we were about to leave my phone started buzzing. Ugh. It's my brother.

'Hello?'

'Hi Alix! It's Jalil!'

'No shit Sherlock. Ever heard of caller id?'

'Jeez just trying to greet my little sister, no need to be so harsh!'

'Hah sorry, still half asleep. So what's up?'

'Nothing really, dad wanted me to call you to make sure you're ok; not in any trouble?'

'Wow. Great to know he assumed I'm in trouble.'

'Ah, he's just looking out for you. I'll let you go now. Talk to you later, little sis.'

'Bye, Jalil.'

I hung up my phone and exited the tent. The group was so far away, they were barely visible.

"Shoot, I'm late." I exclaimed out loud to myself.

"It's alright, you're not the only one." I jumped around at the sound of another voice, and skipped a beat when I realized it was Nathanaël.

"Oh, h-hey Nathanaël. I, uh- thought I was alone.."

He looked at the ground and scratched the back of his neck, "heh I guess I got a late start."

We both stood there in awkward silence for a few seconds before I said "I guess we should try to catch up."

"Yeah." We began walking slowly up the path.

Marinette was running all over the place, freaking out. "Where could she be? She said she would be right up! I hope she's not lost. We should've waited-"

"Relax, Marinette. Nathan waited back too. I'm sure they're fine." Adrien said, placing a hand on Mari's shoulder.

At this, Mari froze and did I squeaky high pitched giggle. Adrien looked at Alya, concerned, but she just waved it off.

"Sooooo,, Nathan and Alix?" Alya asked smirking and wriggling her eyebrows.

"They obviously have a thing for each other." Nino stated, happy to agree with Alya.

"Ooh they would make the cutest couple!!" Marinette squealed.

"Right," Alya started, "so how are we gonna get them together...?"

They all talked and figured a plan to set up Alix and Nathanaël, but what they didn't know was someone was eavesdropping the whole time.

"Chloe, you'll never believe what I just overheard!!" Sabrina bounced happily over to her 'friend'.

"This better be good." Chloe whined as Sabrina whispered to her.

The blonde smirked playfully, "hmmmm..."

A/n: very short chapter but I just wanted to get something out!! Updates are slow, I know, but I think it'll all pick up when school starts.
