I scouted the forest a bit more, that man had become a bit of a nuisance.
There was an old saying they used to teach us in school, of course they used to teach us that being an elemental was wrong, but they used to say that when combined, our powers could change the world. Now I thought that meant something good, but it actually meant we were going to use our energies to power the warship. They didn't need any particular element to power the warship, just all of our powers combined. Which led me to think that maybe something was created when we were combined, another element, which could change the world...
My thoughts were interrupted by a sound ruffling through the trees, a strong wind. The wind was the one thing the Earth could not control, it was a strange thing, air. I guess that was why it was another element. I kept walking, thinking about the wind when another gust came through the trees. Unknown to many people, trees hated wind, it disturbed their position, made them uncomfortable. Stupid wind.
There had to be a way out of this place, maybe a large entrance or something. I knew this place wasn't natural, it just seemed like it. It's like hunters who make hunting reserves, it seems natural to the animals but the hunters know it's just a bit of decoration while they hunt. It was the exact same here, except I was now the animal. I heard a voice behind me say one word, "Hello."
I turned around and before looking at the figure I summoned tangles of vines to entrap the thing. Hopefully it was another hunter that I could get some information from. The figure was a man, slightly less than six foot, he was young but had foam white hair. I asked him, "What is this place? How can I get out, and what is the warship?"
The figure laughed, laughing and laughing. It was like he was some sort of lunatic. Maybe he was a hermit, they were pretty odd.I told the figure, "I'm not afraid to hurt you." Proving the point, I moved out my fingers and grabbed the man's balls. Or at least, I tried. I could see the balls, I knew they were there, but when I tried to grab them I couldn't, they just went straight through my fingers. "What the hell are you?" I asked.
The man responded, "You haven't figure it out, have you? Let me show you what I am." The man flew out of the vines and landed next to me, without even needing to escape his bonds, just doing it effortlessly. He continued, "I am an air elemental, nice to meet you."
