I went inside. The smell of disinfectant messed with my nose. The nurses nodded knowing why I was here. Taking two lefts and a right I made it to her old room. I sat in the chair next to the window and pulled out the next letter written from a doctors pad.
Slater,
They say I'm sick. They say I can pull though. They say all these things but they all get lost in my head. All I can think about is you. What will happen if I don't? I don't want to die Slater I don't want to leave you.
What do I say? What do I do? Mom and dad are sitting fast asleep across my room. Whats the bright side to this?
I know I told you once all things have a bright side but I am lost Slater. How can I possibly fight this? How do I win?
Promise to keep a smile
