Hey guys!
So before we get starting I just want to advise you that I have been naughty and have changed something about Scarlett. I have previously advised that Scarlett did not enjoy makeup, however, after some consideration I have changed my mind. I have decided that she does, so I have gone back to the previous chapter and did remove that bit of information from the previous chapter. Anyway, I dunno if this is actually a big deal to anyone but me, but I didn't want to risk it. ha. Anyway ima shut up and let you read.

Part Three-
Hours later I was standing in front of Aimee's bathroom mirror. My rarely used makeup bag was over flowing onto the counter. Normally, I wear light makeup – foundation, black eyeliner, and mascara. But every now and then I pull out all the makeup. Eye shadows, blush, bronzer, flash lashes, gel liner, and lipstick. All of the lipstick! I have almost finished my look for the night. Aimee picked out, what she called a dress, but to me it looked like a shirt. It was gold and came down to about mid-thigh. It was wayyyyy to short, but I liked how my short legs looked long with the paired black heels. The dress was strapless but I was planning using my hair to hide that fact.
To match the dress, I had gone with a bright shimmery gold shadow paired with different shades of brown and black. I also went with winged liner, even though I'm terrible at it and can never get the shape perfect on both sides. I have no idea how the girls on YouTube do it so flawlessly. The shadow and the liner together made my dark are even darker. They also have an unusual shine to them. The final step is by far the hardest one, the false lashes. Another thing other girls on YouTube can do flawlessly, whereas, I can never get them on straight.
I held back a scream of frustration as I slipped applying the left and final eyelash. I groaned pulling the bottle of glue back out of my bag and reapplied it to the eye lash. I shook the lash to help the glue dry and become slightly sticky before leaning into the mirror. My nose almost touched the glass as I tried to get as close as possible. My hand trembled as I gingerly applied the lash.
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding as the eyelash stayed where it was. I did a little happy dance in my head, afraid if I tried to do it in my current outfit I would break my neck. I pulled away from the mirror and looked myself over. I was satisfied with how my look came out. My brown eyes looked bigger and brighter. My dark hair cascaded down my back in rings of curls. I pulled a couple of pieces over my shoulder to cover their straplessness. I looked like I had more than a stick in the dress and my legs looked awesome. I still wasn't excited about this party. I couldn't shake this bad feeling from the center of my belly. It felt like it was in knots. Aimee told me it was just my nerves, but I didn't think it was.
My mom had handled it pretty well when I told her I was planning on staying with Aimee and that we were just going to watch movies. I was over here often enough it wasn't unusual. I heard the door swing open behind me and I watched through the mirror as Aimee bounced into the room. I don't know how see did it wearing heels the size of my forearm.
"Oooooooooo la la. You look great Scar!" Aimee sang as she grabbed one of my curls. I felt the blush rise to my checks and hoped that wearing blush had not been a mistake.
"Thank you." I mumbled, looking away from her face and to her outfit. Aimee was wearing a short white dress that stopped about mid-thigh. It had long sleeves with an open back that showed her perfect creamy skin. She was wearing a pair of open toe white heels. I swear she will break her neck in them. She towered over me. Her red hair was pulled up into a perfect bun with a couple of pieces hanging down to frame her face. She convinced me to do her makeup before I started on mine. For her, I had done a simpler look. I did a neutral nude base shadow I also did dark winged liner for her and applied false lashes. I was very proud of myself for that one.
