Recap--
"Have you seen my friend? She's got red hair. Tall. Wearing a white dress?"
"Yeah babe. She went into the last door on the right." He raised his hand as if to rub my arm.
"Thanks." I moved myself out of his reach and headed towards the door creeper pointed out. I could see a light shining through the crack in the door that had been left opened.
"Aimee?" I asked, pushing open the door. I gasped and my coke dropped to the floor at the sight in front of me.
Part Four -
I didn't notice as the coke pooled at my feet as I watched my naked best friend on top of my very naked boyfriend. I heard my breathe catch and I finally got their attention. When Ashton's blue eyes met mine he threw Aimee off of him, and called my name "SCARLETT!"
I tore my eyes of their bodies and bolted from the room. I heard Ashton calling after me but I didn't stop. I kept walking fighting the urge to cry the entire way down. As I passed by the bar to get out of the house I heard the blonde bartender call out to me.
"HEY virgin drinker." He called. I glared at the comment as many of the people standing around the bar turned to stare at me. I don't need this type of attention, but the more I looked at the bottles behind blondies head. I did need a drink. My mind couldn't wrap around the things that I had seen upstairs. I would never be able to forget that image out of my head. I just couldn't believe that the two most important people in my life would betray me that way. I was hurt and angry.
My heart was broken, shattered into a millions pieces and I felt cold. Cold all over. I marched over to the bar determined to forget this pain. I don't want to feel it, or anything.
"I require the strongest alcohol you have." I demanded, ignoring the stares that had followed me.
"I thought you didn't drink." He asked confusion clear in his eyes.
"I do now." I watched as his picked up a large clear glass and filled it halfway before handing it to me. I downed it one swallow. It wasn't long before I felt a slight tingly all over my body and my face felt warm. I think that did it.
I smiled up at blondie. The pain in my heart was starting to fade, and I forgot to care that I just caught my boyfriend and best friend doing the dirty.
"Thanks. Can I have something not soo.. " I asked pointing at the glass. He chuckled and disappeared behind the counter. I frowned as he held out a coke can and I was reminded of the one I lost upstairs.
"Do you want something else?" He asked concern in his voice.I wasn't going to let them ruin my favorite thing.
"No, thank you." I said grabbing the coke and opened it. Taking a big swig.
"Hey I forgot to get your name earlier. I'm Chris." Blondie, now Chris, held his hand out to me. I couldn't help but smile at him as I shook his head. "I'm Scarlett."
"SCARLETT. There you are. I've been looking all over for you." I froze as I heard his voice behind me. Chris narrowed his eyes at Ashton. "Babe. Let's talk. I'm sorry." I felt Ashton grab my shoulder to turn me to face him.
"DON'T touch me!" I hissed at him jerking my arm away from him. "Don't ever fucking touch me again!"
"Oh come on babe. That didn't mean anything." Ashton replied coldly. I stared up at the man before me. The person I thought I knew was no longer there. That sweet, gentle kindhearted man was nothing but a cruel, heartless monster. I shook my head, trying to figure out how I hadn't seen it before. How did I not see the signs?
