Even after all the pain you've been through
I'm sorry I wasn't there
I'm sorry that you feel as though hiding your pain behind a smile is a necessary action
I'm sorry you don't feel worth it
But most of all
I'm so very sorry I stepped into your life
As you are obviously way better off without me
