::Not So Bad::
"Hey Zoe?" Edith asks, opening her science notebook. She replies with a "hmm?"
"Do you think Luke likes Xara? Or vice versa?" She looked over with a look of hope. She could see Zoe tense at the question.
"Um no, have you met her? And even if she did, she isn't his type.." They look over to see the two working on their project. Luke leaning over the table to her side, looking down at her as she spoke science. Their eyes always looking into each others. Actually a surprising sight.
Xara POV
"...and that's the formula for Carbon Dioxide" I finished looking up at Luke. He nodded slowly taking in everything I just said. He was actually quite the character when he wasn't surrounded by complete idiots.
"And Oxygen is made if these components? People can take in a lot of Oxygen if you really think." He says sitting down next to me, taking my paper and copying my work. Typical. All that charm washed away
"Students we have a new project for all of you." Mr. B said, puling out his clipboard. "This year we are going to be doing a partnered project on a bacteria, hormone, disease etc. I will announce your partners and you will be given two weeks to complete it. Now this is half of your grade so be sure to work extra hard." I could feel the air tense up, everyone hoping they got one of the smart kids. I just hoped I wasn't partnered with-
"Your partner will be the person sitting next to you."
