its only 3 hours left so i rushed myself to the mall and FINALLY i found a simple white dress with some lace at the bottom of the dress. I feel so relieved that i actually find a nice dress.

but when i'm about to pay to the cashier, i saw the price tag. oh damn. it's so expensive.

i literally cannot afford it.

so i made a u turn and when i'm about to put the dress back to its original position, someone stopped me.

"i'll pay it for you." said the familiar voice that belongs to kim mingyu.

"What are you doing?"

"What? I'm going to pay for this. excuse me." he immediately run to the cashier.

"YA KIM MINGYU." I shouted.

"You're making me feel even worse."

"Why?"

"Because you paid it." I sighed

"Just call this dress as a gift from me because you want to go the prom with me."

"b-but....that's so expensive...."

"just accept it." He handed me the dress and smiled.

"t-thank-thankyou very much kim mingyu."

[time skipped]

10 minutes left until the prom starts and i'm already in school with some of my friends.

"where is he?" I murmurred.

I keep searching for him but i don't see him. he is really tall but i can't find him. that's weird tho.

maybe he's late?

"okay, ladies and gentleman. may i have your attention please? the show is starting!" the mc shouted and at the same time my phone vibrates.

i look at my phonescreen and i receive a message from kim mingyu.

i turned around and he smiled while saying,"hey."

"Hey, you just arrived here?"

"ANDDD NOW ITS THE DANCE TIME." all the students chanted and the music starts to play.

"Shall we dance?" Mingyu winked while asking me.

"sure and pls don't wink at me like that." I chuckled.

Suddenly all the light turned off while we are dancing.

nah, probably too much electricity used.

However, there's one light that shine mingyu and me

"hi." he smiled awkwardly.

"what is this all about?" I asked.

"i bet you already know my feelings towards you, right?" He said that and I nodded.

"So, yeri-ssi please forget the old and selfish kim mingyu that always hurt you. I want you to just look at the new me. I really really love you,kim yeri-ssi. Would you like to be my girlfriend?" He said that while opening a small black box that contain a silver necklace with our inital.

isn't this too soon for me?

my heart can't accept this.

what should i answer him?

what if i say yes to him but then he hurt me again?

i'm so scared to answer.

"I- i don't know.....I love you too, mingyu. but i-..i can't answer it."

"I'm not forcing you to answer me right now, yeri. I'll wait for your answer." He smiled sincerely.

all of the students said "WHYY." to me.
