driving home was the best party after a party. stretching out in your bed and taking over every inch. that's what I was looking forward to.
"so, you and Andrea?" Kian teases.
"she's my ex and only my ex. nothing else. she was flirty but she was drunk," I tap to the sound of the music playing in the background.
"sure as hell didn't seem like it when she was giving you the eyes and being all over you."
"we didn't do anything i'm telling you. I kept my eyes on you guys because you Kian, get super aggressive when your drunk and Jc exposes himself when he's drunk. I was planning on staying sober but the sweet smell of weed lingered my way."
"I thought you quit."
"so did I." I shrug and pull into the drive way.
"leave Jc in the house and I'll go get us some dinner or whatever. what you want?"
"Denny's sounds hella bomb." a sleepy Jc mumbles.
"Kian?"
"McDonald's."
"alright." Kian nods and exits the car, walking over to Jc side to carry him inside.
once Kian takes Jc inside, I sped off into the darkness of California.
the ride to town wasn't as bad as I thought. it was actually pretty peaceful. I'd hear a couple of people honk from either driving too slow or the recognized me.
"what could I get for you today?" The kind lady asks.
"three number 1's, two Oreo shakes, and one strawberry shake, please."
"okay. is that all?"
"yes it is." I smile although the woman couldn't see me.
"fourteen dollars and five cents at the next window." I move ahead as my phone buzzes from the other seat.
I grab my phone to see ten missed called from the girls and thirty messages from Lauren.

baby mama☺️🌸: I understand you're mad at me but answer me.
baby mama☺️🌸: this makes you look hella petty
baby mama☺️🌸: answer me daddy
baby mama☺️🌸: you ain't gettin any of you don't answer your god damn phone.
I roll my eyes. sex isn't gonna change anything. might as well answer her.
jordan: why are you still home? is something up?
baby mama☺️🌸: i'll tell you later, please don't jump to conclusions....
"here you go ma'am." says the employee handing me my food.
"thank you so much." i politely smile.
"you're welcome. have a nice night." she smiles and closes the window.
