"I miss those nights when we would laugh together.

I miss those nights when we would smile together.

I miss those nights when we would cry together.

Those nights have slowly faded

into nothing but memories

that will soon be forgotten by you

and forever remembered by me." (m.k)

Aprils POV:

I don't know what woke me up first.

The sound of my cell phone blaring out my Ed Sheeran ringtone telling me to wake up, or the inhuman screeching noises coming from downstairs.

Both startled me, instantly waking me up and forcing me to adjust my eyes. But what feared me the most was I had no clue where I was at the moment.

My body started to tremble, my eye sight getting blurry by the second.

Did something happen last night?

Completely unaware of what was beyond the closed bedroom door, I stepped out of the duvet, and made my way downstairs. And let me tell you, nothing could've prepared me for what I was going to see.

It was a mess.

Food was everywhere, covering every single piece of furniture in the living room and kitchen, lights were flickering on and off, probably from being used all night. But the funniest part was the boys; each covered in a different type of ingredient. I couldn't hold it in anymore. Before I could even register what I was doing, laughter escaped my lips. I don't even think the boys noticed me until I was in hysterics. And then they joined in. For a good 5 minutes, we were crying from laughing so hard. I was having such a good time I forgot where I was.

The boys house.

I immediately stopped what I was doing and froze. The boys soon noticed, worried looks spreading across their faces.

"April? Babe? What's wrong?" Liam asked stepping in front of me.

"N-Nothing. I uh, I have to go." I stuttered, grabbing all my stuff in sight and bolting for the door.

"Wait April! Come back! Is everything ok?" His voice echoed through the whole house.

"No, er, yes. I just can't be here. Its too much. I'm sorry. Bye guys." I ran outside into the blinding sun.

I was getting dirty looks from people everywhere, and I was starting to question why.

I looked down and almost choked on my spit.

I'm walking around town in my pajamas.

But not any pajamas, just spandex a fucking sweatshirt.

I cursed under my breath dozens of times before sprinting back to the boys.

Thanking god there wasn't any paparazzi out, I made it back to their house without any hassle.

I'll just run in quickly, grab my stuff, and get out as quick as I can.

But it never works like that.

As soon as I stepped foot on their porch, the door opened and there stood the boy from my past.

"You uh, you left these here." He handed me my pants and stood there awkwardly, unsure what to do.

"Yeah, thanks." Was all I said.

I was about to leave when I heard my name leave his mouth.

"Hey, April, I-er we were wondering if you wanted to, you know, hang out?' He rubbed the back of his neck, not making this easier for me to say no.

"That's really nice of you guys, but I can't." I said, adding a smile at the end making sure to not to seem too mean.

"Come on Ap. The only reason you won't stay is because of our past, isn't it. Why cant you just push that aside for awhile and just pretend like nothing happened?"

Is he serious.

"Like nothing happened, Niall? You want me to forget everything, all our memories, and pretend were ok?! Its not that easy Niall, I loved you. I loved you for forever, and you want me to forget that?" I practically screamed.

"Hold on. I never said forget. Don't put words into my mouth I didn't say!" He was getting mad now.

"No, but that's what you meant. And you know it." I snarled.

"You know what April? Fine. Don't talk to us. It's not like you didn't ignore is before." His words entered my body, crushing every single piece inside of me like a boulder.

"No, Niall. You're wrong. I tried so god damn hard, SO hard, and what do I get in return? An out of service number, you unfriend me on facebook, and completely erase me from your memory. You have it wrong. YOU never tried. I never once got that long distance call from you, and that fucking hurt. Do you know what it feels like to be ignored by the one you loved? It kills you, breaks you, mentally AND physically. So don't you E V E R say I ignored you."

Wow.

I was shocked I said that. And apparently so was Niall. All he did was stare back.

"April, why didn't you tell me?" His voice so soft compared to before.

"I haven't seen you for 3 years Niall, it's not like I could." I explained.

"I don't know what to say."

"Well, maybe this is when I should go. Thank you, tell the boys I said goodbye. Bye Niall." I slowly turned my back to him, making my way home.

Nialls POV:

"Bye Niall." Was all she said before she turned away from me and left, possibly for good again.

And I just let it happen, yet again.

I slowly traipsed my way inside, sorrow sweeping over me.

"Hey Ni, where's April?" Louis asked me, oblivious to what just happened outside the door.

"She uh, she had something to do tonight." I lied straight through my teeth, but they seemed to buy it.

"Oh. Ok. Wanna play Mario Kart?" Lou asked again.

"Nah, I'm just gonna go lay down. See ya lads later."

I made my way to my room, plopping down on the bed and closing my eyes.

All I see is Brown.

Brown hair.

Brown eyes.

Brown everything.

Anything reminds me of her.

And I'm not sure if I like it or not.
