"I'll burn you and your family"

I unbox my school uniform and make my way to the bathroom with a pair of clothes. I remove my shirt and look at my complexion, admiring myself like I'm in a magazine. I remember when I was a child, the kids would whip me with sticks and throw rocks at me. The principle wouldn't believe me when I said that they bullied me. But, that's all in the past. I hope Emily is right about the humans this time. I want them to understand that not only humans have feelings.

I put on my school uniform and came out of the bathroom. My sister, Emily, stopped me in the hallway and smiled up at me.

"Hey big bro, do you not know how to tie your tie?" She asks, trying to tie my tie.

"Yes, I'm just in a bit of a rush" I tell her coldly, as I remove her hands roughly from my tie. I wanted to go early so I can hide my meal, disguised in a tomato juice bag, in my new locker.

"Okay Rai, whatever you want to do." She says as she goes downstairs to eat breakfast. She was cheerful, it's like nothing can bring her down.

I tie my tie and I walk back to my room, scavenging through my closet for my winter jacket. I slipped it on and made my way downstairs out the front door, being sure I move quickly.

The cold, white flakes melted against my skin making me shiver. I let out a sigh. I don't want to get sick because if a vampire gets sick it feels like they have Ebola or the Zika virus. It feels like you're dying slowly on the inside.

I dove my head into my jacket and put my hands in my pockets. I felt a little better knowing that it was warm and cozy. It's like a safe haven in my jacket!

The school appeared in front of me. I looked down at my feet and made my way to the entrance of the big high school. I could feel my hands shaking in my pockets, not because of the cold but, because of how nervous I am to be here. I hear voices around me, they're whispering. Telling me to leave, telling me that I shouldn't be here. I covered my ears, trying desperately to block out the voices. Then I smelled it, I smelled Someone whose blood reeked of sweet lemonade. I closed my eyes as my feet lead me to that sweet smell. I seemed to have forgotten the voices that were mocking me in my mind. I felt two hands on my chest as I lightly nibbled on the person's neck. The two hands pushed me roughly away from them and I snapped out of it. A girl with long brown hair and a petite body, stared at me in awe. Her friends also looked at me like, I was insane. A Light pink tint was visible on my cheeks in embarrassment.

"What was that?" Her friends asked, curious on why I just gave her friend a hickey out of no where. I rubbed the back of my neck and looked down to the floor.

"Yes, tell me why you just did that. I need answers." The girl with the long brown hair asked.

I became anxious and decided to run away. I don't know how to deal with a situation like this and I never will understand. The girl and her friends tried chasing me but failed miserably. I turned a corner and dropped down with my knees high to my stomach.

I can't believe I just did that. Hopefully she thought of it as a 'i like you' kind of thing. I only like her because of her nice lemonade smell. Its invigorating. It makes me curious of what her blood would taste like. I shook my head abruptly and stood up. I dusted the dirt off my jacket and pants and continued off to the entrance of school. I could hear people here and there bickering around me. Did the news spread that fast? I walked nervously inside the school and looked around cautiously, looking out for Lemonade. I decided to give her the nickname lemonade because of her smell (Don't ask questions :3)

Everyone was too busy talking with their friends to notice me, I mean a few girls noticed me and started giggling. I looked down to my feet again and walked to my first hour. I guess I wasn't that early after all. The bell hasn't rung but, I know i'm not early. there are so many people roaming through the halls, figuring out where their classes are. Just like me except I need to go to my locker first to drop off my lunch. As I walked, I could smell her again, but I don't see her. I decided to ignore the smell, because if I do fall for it again, I'll end up getting exposed. I see my locker and open it, turning the dial from left to right then left again. I opened my locker and threw my backpack in my locker. I paused as I swore I thought the smell of lemonade was coming closer. I tense as I feel a light tap on my shoulder. I spun around really quick, making myself dizzy in the process.

"So, are you going to give me a reason for this?" She pleads as she shows me her fresh hickey on her neck.
