"No one will save a monster, like me.."

"It's okay, I'll always be there for you" a woman with short blonde hair said as she helped me up to my feet. I used her to keep me steady as we slowly walked to the schools infirmary.

"Who are you? Are you also out to get me?" I say weakly. She ignores me. It's as if I never even said anything. She opens the door for me and slowly walks me to the bed.

"Just know I won't judge you, vampire" she tells me as she looks through my bag in an attempt to look for my meal.

"I left my food in my locker" I say as I lay down in the bed.

"You imbecile. What's your combo? I'll go and get it for you. Unless" she says as she walks closer to me. "You want to draw blood from me. I'll supply you with it" she says while she shows off her neck with a smirk. I look away. I know she didn't just say that.

"No, I'm good. I'd rather die than drink human blood" I reply hastily.

"Fine, I'll just get your food from yoir locker. Now give me the digits." She says totally blowing off what she told me.

"It's locker 221 and the combo is 5, 13, 32. My lunch should be the only thing in there" I tell her, clutching my side a little.

"Okay, I'll be back in a moment. For now, stay in here and make yourself at home" she smiles as she walks out of the nurses office and out into the empty hallway. I didn't hear the bell ring at all, I guess I was so disoriented I didn't hear the bell. I wonder how Emily is doing and why she didn't save me.

I sat up and looked around. I needed bandages to cover up my wound so I wouldn't have an infection. I got up from the bed and limped towards a cupboard, knowing that I could find many supplies in a infirmary to support my wound. The door creaked open and in came the nurse. I tensed up and turned around slowly.

"Oh my lord, you look very injured. You also searched in the wrong cupboard, young man." She tells me as she goes to her desk and opens a drawer. A roll of bandages was present and she tossed them to me. I missed of course. My hand/eye coordination is terribly off at the moment. I bent down and achieved the bandages. The nurse didn't even mention my wound.

"Hopefully you know how to wrap yourself in bandages because if you can't, i will." She flirts. I cringe slightly and unravel the bandages. The lady studied me closely as I wrapped the bandages around myself, awkwardly. She suddenly bolted out of her seat and grabbed a pen and paper.

"Something came up and I have to go to a meeting. Dont move unless you feel comfortable." She tells me as I relax on the bed waiting for Blondie to get my food.

A burning desire was starting up in the back of my throat and I coughed trying to keep it down. I know when I get hungry, I'll end up searching for lemonade. Why not Blondie? Because she doesn't have sweet blood.

I heard a knock on the door and blondie came in with a package labeled 'Tomato Juice'. She threw it at me and I caught it on instinct. I chuckled a bit because I can catch a bag of blood but not bandages. Blondie also tosses me a straw. I stab the bag with a straw and drink from it. I sucked it dry and heavily sighed. It's situations like these i should be avoiding. I unwrapped the bandages that were around my wound and noticed my wound was completely healed, not even a scar was seen.

"What do you say?" She asks as she walks over to her backpack. To zip it up. I open the door and we both walk out into the hallway.

"Thank you.. for everything. I am extremely grateful" I tell her as we get out the door, feeling ecstatic. She smiles at me and I look away.

"You know I thought all vampires were bad." She tells me as she tucks a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Those are just urban legends, they aren't true. You shouldn't believe everything you read." I tell her honestly.

She steps in front of me and stops me in my tracks. She's extremely close. I back up a little, afraid of what she's capable of.

"Also, you are really handsome, to be a vampire" Blondie winks at me as she leaves me dumbstruck. She walks away, most likely going to her classroom.

What passed my mind was, how did she know I was a vampire in the first place and why did she help me. I didn't care that she had feelings for me. I am not a monster of romance. I am a monster of destruction.

You all know the drill! Proofread the heck outta this. Did you guys think the nurse was weird or kind of a perv? And how did Blondie know that Raiden was a vampire? Stay tuned for the next chapter!!
