Marinette and all of her friends go to the number one professional dance school in Paris. Their school is very strict only letting them do ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, lyrical, and hip hop. All of them want to try out breakdance though...
I had just finished my duet with Adrien, that song really gets the energy out of me. Adrien and I are getting a drink of water and heading to lunch now.
"Hey! Good job today! We'll do perfect for the competition tomorrow!" I told Adrien
"Thanks you too! When should we meet at your house, I know you already have some ideas for our costumes!" Adrien laughs
"Haha, yeah I do actually. Are you free tonight?" I ask him.
"Yeah, tonight is good. I'll see ya later!" Adrien walks off.
---Lunch---
I was sitting at my lunch table waiting for my friends to come from their classes. Soon; Alya, Rose, and Violet come over to eat lunch with me. We all talk about our dances and how much practice we need, but then my best friend Alya mentions something I wish no one knew about...my crush.
"Hey Marinette! How was your class with 'him' today?" Alya teased me.
"I-It was good, we're getting better. He is coming over tonight for our costumes." I responded a bit shyly.
"Hold up! He is coming over to your house?! How did you, the one who always goes drooly over Adrien, end up actually inviting him over?!...no offense" Alya said really surprised.
"None taken, but I honestly don't know. I could actually talk to him today?!"
*bell rings*
We leave the conversation at that and go to our academic classes. I had math first, but today I had a test. That means we get to listen to music! I walk in and could tell there was a new seating chart. I find my seat...it's right next to...ADRIEN?! Oh gosh, just sit down and act like he isn't there.
We start our test, but Adrien taps me on the shoulder not letting the teacher know he's doing so.
"Do you mind sharing an ear bud, I forgot mine at home?" Adrien whispered really quietly.
I nod in response and give him an earbud. I go back to doing my test, and soon finish with 15 minutes of class left. Adrien already left to go practice our routine again, but I am going to go to Home Ec so I can get a start on the costumes.
---Time Skip to Marinette's House---
Adrien's POV
I ring Mari's doorbell, and she answers almost instantly. She leads me up to her room, with two half complete costumes they look amazing!!
"Wow! As usual, these are amazing Mari." I told her still looking at the amazing costumes.
"Thanks, we have done so many duets before I knew the measurements to start out heh." She said while finishing up the red dress.
We spent the rest of the night working one them. They ended up really good, we even practiced once in them. She looked beautiful dancing in it.

"Do you wanna stay for dinner tonight? We are having a movie dinner night type of thing." Mari asked me.
"Sure. My dad is out of town anyways." I replied.
We went down to her kitchen to get our dinner. We sat next to each other on her couch with her parents next to her. We watched Step Up, I had a fun time with Mari and her family. The movie was almost over, but it was really late. 11:00 at night. I soon felt something hit my shoulder, I looked down and it was Mari...she fell asleep. I felt heat rise up to my cheeks. I didn't want to wake her so I put my arm around her and left her be. I tried to stay awake, but soon fell asleep.
