Adrien's POV

I woke up to hear my alarm going off. I thought that I would be tired from being at the club so late last night, but I guess I was too excited to be tired. Last night was amazing, dancing with Ladybug. I have never danced so freely like that, especially not at the Academy.

I finally got up out of bed, got dressed, and went downstairs and ate breakfast at the long, lonely dining table. When I was done I rushed to the car, to get to school early and talk with Nino about what happened at the club last night.

Mari's POV

I opened my eyes to see the bright sun shining through my window. I looked over at the clock while yawning and saw that, for once, ,I was awake on time. I got up, got a shower, got dressed, and ate breakfast still being on time for school.

My mind finally woke up when I realized what happened last night at the club. Last night was amazing, and I couldn't believe that people actually liked my dancing. My thoughts started trailing off to when Chat and I were dancing together, and how everything was in sync...it was like we were the only two on the planet. I snapped out of my trance and was heading for the front door when...

"Marinette?" Sabine called.

"Y-yes Maman!" I replied.

"Don't forget your lunch! Have a good day!" Maman smiled and kissed my cheek as I walked out the door.

Adrien's POV

I got out of my car and immediately walked towards Nino, who was standing by the steps to the school.

"Hey Nino!" I called out.

"Hey bro!" Nino replied. "Nice job last night by the way!" Nino added a tad quieter.

"Thanks! It was amazing, do you have any idea who Ladybug is?" I asked eagerly.

"No dude, complete mystery to me."

"When we were dancing it felt like we were the only two on the planet. I need to find out who Ladybug is really."

3rd Person POV

As Adrien and Nino were talking, Alya and Marinette came up to them and started talking to them. They were all having pleasant conversation, just talking about the usual stuff, and trying to avoid talking about the club.

"Hey, so how did you guys do in the competition yesterday?" Alya asked.

"We got first place, so we'll be going to the semi finals next month." Adrien replied.

"Yeah, our instructor already had a song picked out so we can start working on it right away." Marinette added.

They all continued their conversation until the bell rung. They all went towards their first class and started putting on their ballet shoes. The four teenagers by this time have broken into two, both on opposite sides of the studio.

Everyone was on the floor stretching before the teacher came in. Everyone in their little groups talking, or people stretching on their own. Then when everyone was about done their stretches, their teacher came in.

"Get a partner, we're going to be doing something a little different today." The teacher said to the class.

"Go over there girl!" Alya nudged Marinette.

"Are you insane?! I'll do something to embarrass myself!" Mari whisper-yelled.

"No you won't! Have you seen yourself lately, you haven't been stuttering, stammering, or mixing up your words lately. Just go over there, I'll go with you so I can ask Nino." Alya relieved her friend.

The two girls walked over to the two boys; Alya looked over her shoulder and saw Chloe fixing herself in the mirror getting ready to ask Adrien. Alya pushed Marinette lightly to get her to go faster.

"Hey boys!" Alya said getting their attention.

"Hey dudettes!" Nino replied, Adrien turning around and just smiling.

Alya walked over to Nino after nudging Marinette towards Adrien. Marinette took the sign, and breathed in before asking him.

"Hey Adrien, wanna be partners?" Marinette asked mentally high fiving herself for not stuttering.

"Yeah, sure Marinette!" Adrien replied with a smile.

All of a sudden a blonde girl came running at Adrien, and jumping at him kicking her leg towards Marinette. Marinette tried to keep her balance, but ended up falling to the floor.

"Adrikins! Wanna be my partner? You don't wanna be with that clumsy girl!" She said while tripping Marinette.

"Chloe! That wasn't very nice, and no I don't wanna be your partner. Mari already asked me to be her partner." Adrien slightly snapped at Chloe.

Adrien went to Marinette's side and held out his hand for her. She took his hand, remaining calm like she has been. Chloe just huffed angrily and stormed to the other side of the room. The teacher started to get the class' attention again once we all had chosen our partners.

"Today we'll be working on improv, and keeping in sync at the same time." The teacher started.

Mari/Ladybug's POV

I was walking down the stairs into the club to see Chat talking to Tikki and Plagg in the far corner. I started squeezing between the crowd making my way over to them. Once I got over to them, Chat bowed slightly looking back up at me.

"M' lady," said Chat with a small smile on his face.

"Umm, okay...so what we talking about?" I replied a bit confused, then trying to catch up on their conversation.

"We were talking about the contest and how you guys are going to need to practice." Plagg replied.

"Yeah, we were thinking you guys can come here to practice during hours, and if needed you can come here before hours to get some peace and quiet." Tikki added on.

"That sounds good with me!" I approved.

"Okay, good! Now for the contest; there's gonna be different stages throughout the entirety of it, some challenges, some dance offs." Plagg started, Chat and I nodding.

"Now one more thing, you'll be going up against the Papillion. We've never beat him in any competition or dance off." Tikki said.

"But the way you guys dance, we have such a better chance of beating him and his dancers!" Plagg continued.

"Well that's a relief," Chat said.

"Yeah, so when do we start practicing?" I asked.

"Tomorrow, but you guys talk first and just let us know what your schedule might look like. Then come over to the DJ booth when you're done." Tikki said walking off with Plagg.

"So I can be available for practice every night, but I definitely want some private practices as well." I started.

"Okay, why don't we practice here every night, and then have private practices once during the weekdays, and once on the weekends?" Chat suggested.

"Yeah, that's good with me. Let's go see what Tikki and Plagg needed us for." I replied walking over to the booth with Chat following.

Hey guys! Hope you like this chapter! It took me a while to write because I had writers' block for the longest time and then when I finally got something I still had to figure out all the details. I'm so sorry for not posting in forever, but I am gonna try to post again in both this books and in other book or maybe even in new book (wink wink cough cough nudge nudge)! I'm going to try and post in the next 2-3 days because then I'm going somewhere for the weekend and won't be able to write/post anything then. Anyways, I hoped you liked this long overdue chapter!
