Adrien's POV
I woke up to something on my shoulder, I looked over and saw...MARI?! I was going to get up, but she looked so peaceful. Her parents soon came in and woke her up.
"OMG ADRIEN?!" Marinette screamed.

"H-hey Mari. We both fell asleep during the movie last night." I said trying not to stutter.

"O-oh well, I'm sure my parents will give you a ride to your house so you can get ready for school." Marinette said shyly.
Marinette and I ate breakfast, and her and her parents gave me a ride to my house. I tried to sneak in without Natalie and my dad.

"ADRIEN! WHERE WERE YOU?!" My dad screamed in anger. "Darn it." I muttered.

"I-I was working on costumes and dance routine with my partner, Marinette. We accidentally fell asleep while working on the costumes. I'm sorry father." I lied looking down at the floor hoping he would believe me.

"Oh. Marinette? The one who entered our contest not too long ago with the winning hat?...Oh it's fine Adrien. Go get ready for school, we have the competition today, did you and Marinette finish your costumes?" My dad said in a calm tone...woah...he. isn't. mad?

"Y-yeah, imma go get ready for school now father." I said nervously going up to my room. I quickly got a shower and got dressed. I ran back to Marinette's place. I promised her to help her carry the costumes to school.

On my way to Marinette's I remembered that we watched that movie, Step Up. It got me thinking, why doesn't our school dance like that or mix it up a bit.

When I got there her parents let me upstairs to her room. I helped carry the costumes and we headed off to school. It was pretty silent in the beginning, but I broke the silence saying,

"Hey! You excited for the competition today?" I asked Marinette.

"Yes and no. I thin we're going to do amazing, but I just get nervous before every performance. Just always happens. How about you?" She replied with her bright and beautiful smile.

"I think we are gonna do great..." I said looking down. I tried to hide that the whole movie thing was bothering me, but it's all I could think about.

"What's wrong Adrien? I can tell you're not yourself right now." Marinette asked me.

"Remember the movie we watched last night?" I asked her. Marinette nodded. "Well, it has gotten me thinking...why doesn't our school try dancing like that or mixing it up a bit?" I continued.

Marinette stayed silent for a minute while thinking. She soon responded saying,

"That is actually a great idea! After the competition today, you should see what the principal thinks about it. Maybe even get a team before going up to her. If you need anyone you got me on your team!"

"Thanks Mari. I'll talk to her later! Now let's hurry, we should probably get one more practice in before getting on the bus." I said as we hurried into the school.

We dropped off our costumes, and started our last practice before our competition today. I feel like we could've done better...but that might be the movie talking. I know we're gonna do great. Mari and I had our regular classes, lunch, then we had to go straight to our bus. 

I started up a team to see the principal later, so far I have Nino, Alya, Mari and myself. I might just start out small than work my way up, she can't say no to this idea.

---Time Skip to After the Competition---(They got first place btw)

"No." Our principal said.

"Um, if you don't mind me asking...why not?" I asked wondering why she doesn't agree that this would help the students, and be a bit more fun for us too.

"Sorry, but that isn't real dancing. Here we take dancing serious, people who dance like that don't take it serious like we do. ...Dismissed." The principal spat.

We all left the school after that, and I went home with the worst mood ever.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been posting on schedule like I said I would try to. But I will definitely post more often now that it's summer break. Also comment down below if you'd like Adrien to (SPOILER...kinda) find Club Miraculous or have the students create it but still don't know who each other are?
