"Fetch!" I yelled as I threw the Frisbee into the air.

"I've got it!" Nick yelled as he reached for the Frisbee.

"No not you dummy, I was talking to Oreo." I snapped.

In case you might not know, Oreo is our dog, and Nick is my brother, but I like to refer to him as one of my best friends. I dont want anyone to know that me and him are related, its not that I'm embarrased of him or anything.

Nick has blonde hair, and ususally uses hair gel to make a small mowhawk, and has pale blue eyes. I have another brother who's name is Alex, and whom is in 11th grade. He doesn't really hang out with us much though. But Alex has brown hair, and usually combes it to the side, he's pretty tall for his age, and he has hazel eyes.

And I on the other hand, am a brunette with green eyes. Now I know that doesn't go together, but I guess I'm just unordinary... And in case I didn't mention it, the color of my eyes change... Well, not technically the color, but the shade of green.

It was a breezy afternoon, not a single cloud was in the sky. The trees would move from side to side as the wind blew up against them.

Beep beep.

"Hey Bree! Come check it out!" Nick yelled. Then he started running towards the fence surrounding our house.

I saw a blue Nissan park in the driveway to the left of ours. They must be our new neighbors, I thought. The house next to ours has been empty for almost a year now... I wonder if they have kids, I mean, it would be nice having a male friend for once... Or at least a true friend...

Don't get me wrong, I have had friends in the past, but they all just end up using me to get more "popular..." I mean I did once have a true friend, but I had to move to Virginia... Currently, I have friends, but not best best friends. And now, here I am, hoping to start a new friendship.

I started to run over to get a closer look at our new neighbors. Oh my gosh, it looks like they have a son! Just as I'm trying to figure out what he looks like, Nick interrupts my thinking.

"BREE! Dad's calling us." Nick shouted. "Wait a second... You don't like that new boy... Do you...? OO! BREE HAS A NEW CRUSH!!"

"What! Me? Nahh." I stuttered. "But anyways, dad called us."

I quickly grabbed the Frisbee that I threw earlier, and put it in the garage. Oreo had followed me to the garage. As I left the garage, he ran over to the fence, and started barking loudly.

"Calm down boy," I said softly. "Wait here boy."

Then I ran to catch up to Nick. As I reached to turn the doorknob, I took one last glance at our new neighbors. Yep, they definitely have a son. When I opened the door my dad was already giving Nick instructions on what to do.

"Okay, so, we have new neighbors, and what friendlier way to greet them is by... Giving them some brownies! Got it?" Dad said.

"Yea, yea." I replied.

"Bree, what took you so long?" Dad said firmly.

"Cause she's slow, and she's always claiming she's faster than me." Nick said while snickering.

"That's enough Nick." His voice boomed.

"I was just... Just putting the Frisbee away... That's all."

"She also has a new crush!"

"Is that so? And whom may this boy be?"

"DO NOT!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.
