Now imagine what I see

What I see inside your eyes

When I try to find your soul

Behind the walls, behind the lies.

I see a part of you is hurting

One that's scared and one that's wild

This part belongs to stormy seas,

To a small, forgotten child.

Now a part of you is fearless

One that's stronger than you know

This part belongs to a mother

Who's devotion will never go.

Still a part of you is boundless

One that loves and loves so free

Now imagine my surprise to find

This part belongs to me.
