Her name was Delilah. She was his everything. Like a dog finding the perfect person.
"Ryder wanna go with me to the store" Jayden yelled.
He looked at Delilah who just came into the room and smiled then nodded.
"Okay let's go."
"Where are you two going?"
"I need to go to the store for food."
"Ryder's not going." He jumped to his feet and ran over.
"Why not?" He cried.
"Because it's my day to watch him remember. If you don't look at the calender you made."
He took the paper from her and grunted.
"You're staying here Ryder." He put the paper down and went to the door.
"Don't you little miss love bird lay a finger where I wouldn't or the calender thing is off." He left and Ryder sat on the couch.
"So what do you wanna do?" He looked at her slowly and shrugged his shoulder then leaned on the arm.
"You don't talk much, why?"
He shrugged and looked away as she sat down next to him.
She soon stood and went out of the room to come back and replace the place she had left.
Heat danced up Ryder like a heat wave hitting against him.
"Whoa it got hot. Good thing I'm in a dress and it's arms are cut."
He stood and went to the window. Of course it was hot outside too.
She finally went back into the room after an hour of loving her plan and looked at the dog laying all sprawled out on the floor.
"Ryder what's wrong?" She smiled looking down at him.
He growled and sat up to pull his shirt off. He laid on his side so she couldn't see anything.
"Oh come on!" She yelled and he just laughed.
