.

I pull my bloodied dagger out of the person I just killed and stand there staring at the body as O'Shea's bike stopped in front of me. He has a brown leather jacket and black pants with combat boots on.
He smirks as he sees my work.
"Master will cut a figure. How much time it took? This one was feisty." He says.
"Fifteen minutes... And seven seconds, if you count the time I was pulling the dagger off his heart." I say, smirking.
"Impressive," he says as I sit on the bike behind him.
"We are having a party back at home." He adds and starts the bike, racing the engine and takes off at full speed.

I throw my head back and yell at the top of my lungs, "Hail Master, his soul is all yours."
I hear O'Shea laughing and I join his laughter, sticking my middle finger out to the staring cop. We disappear before he could do anything.
We zoom past the allies and take a sharp turn towards home.

The light is dim and there is the aroma of a strong alcohol and blood in air. I walk confidentiality towards the source of the smell, without needing light. The place is already familiar.
I enter the hall and take in the beauty of it.
The place is swimming with hellions. Everyone is holding bottles of alcohol and loud music is playing in the background.
I walk to the counter and grab a bottle for myself. Finishing it in a few sips, I grab another one and walk towards the shackle table.
The crowd is the thickest here. Everyone is waiting for the fun to begin.
I too am.
I push past hellions and stand right in front of the table.
"Hellions" came the voice we all were waiting for. "Cry out the name of thy master. For we thrive for the ruler of hell. We live for them, we die for them. Cry out the name of thy sire as we spill the blood of this angel on this floor." He says as a man wearing heavy shackles is dragged down in between the table. He is covered in whip marks and blood.
Hellions hoot out loud.
"Tear his skin out." Screams one.
"Take his eyeballs out" yells another.
"Butcher him alive and pour acid on him." Someone beside me yell. Everyone repeats after him and he yells out loud in triumph.
A hellion is walking towards the man in shackle, holding a butcher knife in his hand.
"One angel less, one devil more."
"One angel less, one devil more" we chant in unison.
"One angel less, one devil more"
One angel less, one devil more" it is said, when we repeatedly chant a word, it loses all its meaning and significance and turns into a lie. This is what is happening to the chant.
"One angel less, one devil more"
"One angel less one devil more"
we all chorus and subtly the word transforms into gibberish.
Everyone starts banging their bottles or their feet or any thing they come across as the hellion starts skinning the man. I empty the alcohol bottle and join the viciousness, banging my bottle on the shackle table. The hall is filled with the man's screams and the Hellion's laughter.
There is no regret ,only adrenaline burning under our skin.
There is no restrain, only the freedom to kill.
We bear heaviness in my body, it swims in our veins instead of blood.
It crushes us from within, like lead, a slow and deadly poison.
We have to live with it, there is no other way.
Hellions feel glorified after a kill. Their nerves sing with adrenaline and the thrill of revenge and vengeance.
We are made for that and we live for that.
Since we started walking, we are taught to hate goodness. When we are ten, we are taught to kill without mercy. When we reach adolescence, we are unleashed on the world to spread havoc and life goes on from there.
Hellions are supposed to feel proud of this nothingness, of the fact that human emotions cannot wreak havoc on us, that we aren't the slave to our own nature.
I feel nothing.
