Tickles

The dim morning light filtered through the curtains, illuminating the two lovers who were currently wrapped in each other's arms. Giggles and soft spoken words filled the air, loving gazes casted towards each other.
"I love you David..." You nuzzled into his chest, absorbing all of the warmth you could. His arms wrapped tighter around you, a smile quite evidently etched onto his face.
"I love you too. Maybe even more than my potatoes." He let out a laugh as a small "Hey" could be heard from you, but, as always, it was all for fun.
"Maybe I love you a little less than anime." You pulled away from him, a mischievous gleam in your eyes as he pouted for those few seconds.
"But you can't love anime more than me..." David started to give you his best puppy dog eyes, begging you to take it back.
"Nope. Anime is better." You stuck your tongue out at him, sitting up.
"Hmm. Guess I'll have to force you to admit otherwise..." He smirked, sitting up along with you and pressing his forehead to yours.
"You. Wouldn't. Dare." You slowly started backing away from him, but he jumped onto you, slowly starting to tickle you.
Laughter erupted from your throat as he continued to move his fingers along your sides, not giving you a single moment to catch your breath. Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes, your constant begging for him to stop fell on deaf ears as he continued.
" I'm better than anime, am I not. Or maybe you want to be with Kaneki?" (first thing that popped to mind, sorry if you don't like Tokyo Ghoul) He taunted you, desperately trying to get you to say what he wanted. That he was all you wanted.
"FINE! Fine! Please just stop, please!" You panted as he finally stopped, trying to regain the oxygen you had lost during those few minutes.
"Tell me, babe." He nuzzled into your hair, pulling you into his chest.
"... I love you just a little bit more than my anime..." You grumbled out, wrapping your arms around his torso.
"And I love you more than my potatoes." He rested his back on the headboard, pulling you closer to him. As the minutes passed, his breathing evened out, signaling that he had fallen asleep.
"I will always love you more than my anime, don't ever forget that, David. You mean too much to me to let anime get in the way, no matter how hot the guys are. You'll always be first in my mind." You pulled yourself up, planting a kiss on his cheek before resting your head on his chest once more.
What you didn't notice was the smile that made it's way onto his face as he tried to pull you even closer.
