Wet. Why is my face wet. Ewwww.

I open my eyes to find 2 big brown eyes staring at me. And not just any brown eyes. Dog eyes.

I scramble out from under the puppy and take a good look at it. It's dark brown fur is messy all over the place and his tongue is sticking out of his mouth.

"Hey there boy. How did you get in my room?" I laugh playfully while picking the puppy up and carrying it down stairs.

When I get down the stairs, I realize it's quite. Too quite.

I turn left to enter the living room and find it empty. The kitchen is empty as well. I skip outside to the backyard and find my pack staring at me intently.

"Yes?" I question, looking smugly at their knowing faces.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" They all cheer out simultaniously.

"Wait, what day is today?" I laugh when Nic and Zach run up to me and tackle me too the ground.

"It's June 23rd, you idiot," Rex laughs while pulling me off the ground. "Good to see you too, Rex." I chuckle while hugging her shoulders. "How does it feel to be 19?" She asks, and watches when Zach pulls me into a hug, nearly choking me to death. "Older," I laugh at her idiocy. "Hey there Zach. You better be treating Rex good, or I'll chop your dick off," I smile and kiss his cheek.

"Happy birthday, you twat." Nic says while tugging me away from Zach's death grip. "I missed you, asswipe," I giggle and pull his neck into a hug. He responds by wrapping his arms around my waist and tucking his head into the crook of my neck.

"Where's Maizy?" I smile. He points to the bustling girl with red hair. She's walking over to me when she sees me smiling .

"Hey there, Mai. How ya been?" I grin while hugging her tightly. "I've been great. How bout' you birthday girl?" She laughs, her British accent thick in her voice.

"Haha, just peachy. I'm gonna look for Ark," I say while walking away. I walk past everyone, happy birthdays being thrown at me from left to right. I spot Ark sitting with the puppy I woke up to.

"Hey babe. " I smile, while picking up with little German Shephard and sitting next to Ark. "Hey, princess. Happy Birthday," He grins while kissing me. His lips are soft and feel great on mine. Like they were meant to be. "I hope you liked your birthday present." He laughs, while signaling to the dog nipping at my jacket.

"Yes, yes I did. Let's name him... Bullet." I smile, while lifting up the dog. He looks me in the eyes and barks happily. He licks my nose with his pink tongue and I giggle.

We've been sitting around eating with the pack for the past hour. Most people have resided to going inside and resting. Ark and Nic are engaged in a heavy conversation, Zach and Rex are busy cuddling, and Maisy is playing with Bullet. I sit back and look at my friends. The people who have been with me through it all.

They look happy, and that's all i could ever ask for.

A twig snaps and I look up to find Chris slowly walking up to me. "Luna." He bows his head when he reaches the blanket I'm sat upon.

"Call me Maxxi, Chris. You know I gate formality." I smile. He looks down at the blanket, wanting to sit but looks back up at me, "May I ?" He asks.

I nod my head and he takes a seat next to me. "Happy Birthday, Maxxi. I know I've been acting like a dick and not being the mate I should be, but I bought you a present to make up for it." He smiles.
"You didn't have too." I laugh. "Oh, but I wanted too." He smiles when I laugh louder.

He pulls out a black, velvet box from his pocket, " Here. " He smiles while handing me the box. I take it and gasp when I open it.

It's a diamond necklace with a key at the end. Behind the key is a set of golden wings attached to a clock. It's beautiful. ( Pic to ze >> )

"Why did you buy me this?" I spit. He thinks he can just buy me an expensive necklace to make up for what he has done? He's been tearing me apart and hurting me and he thinks he can ust jump back in and everything will be alright? Oh hell to the no.

"I just wanted everything to be alright between us," He chokes. "Nothing will ever be right between us. You tore me apart. Give this stupid thing to your mate," I growl while throwing the necklace at him. He catches it and runs off.

"What happened?" Nic asks while sitting next to me. "He thinks after all he's done, that he can come back into my life by buying me a necklace and thinkgs will be alright." I sigh .

"He is your mate, Maxxi. You should give him a chance. Give him a run for his money. Make him beg for you." He smirk and winks at me while walking of with Maizy.

Make him beg for me.

He'll be crawling to me in no time.
