Esmeralda began to panic and it made khali mad
"Stop panicing" she yelled
"That should be the last thing you should ask of me" Esmeralda retorted
"If you keep on panicing i wont be able to think" Khali
"You thoughts better be about breaking us out" Esmeralda said with hope in her heart
"If you break us out king lucien will place a bounty on our heads which means we will be hunted for the rest of our lives" Lance said calmly
Suddenly the warning bell went off and there was commosion outside. Khali faced the guard outside their cell
"What is happening?" She asked
"The princess has been taken by Alicias men" he replied.
Khali then faced her brother and Esmeralda
"I have an idea" she said
"To break us out?" Esmeralda asked
"No"
"Then we don't want to here it"
"Its to free us without breaking out"
"I want to hear it" Lance said
"I am sure you do"
"We will save the princess" khali said boldly. Esmeralda chuckels
"So your big plan is to save the princess"
"Yes it is. If we save her, we can have king lucien on our side together with his army"
"She has a point. We can use his army against Alicia" Lance said
"King Luciens army is nothing compared to Alicias" Esmeralda said "besides you will need magic too"
Khali and lance stare at each other
"You have magic right?" Esmeralda asked
"I do not know" khali answered
"How on earth do you expect to beat Alicia without magic"
"She has magic, she just can't use it yet" Lance said.
"Really" Esmeralda said.
The guards came and opened the cell
"The king has requested an audience with you" one of them said.
They took them to the court room. The room was filled with the ministers and night. They laid them before the king.
"I have news that you are accomplices of Alicia" the king asked
There was no response
"Then you plead guilty?" He asked again. Still no response came from them
"I sentence you to death"
Murmurs filled the court room
"We can help you get your daughter back" Khali said out loud.
There was silence. Then she continued
"We can bring your daughter back in exchange you will give us your arm"
People laughed
"She is the one destined to kill Alicia" Esmeralda blurted out.
Everywhere became quiet and they king stood up slowly.
"What proof do you have of this claim?" He asked
Esmeralda whispered to khali
"Do something"
"I can't do anything. Next time be sure"
"Well there isn't going to be a next time if you don't do something"
Khali looked up to the king
"We will help you get your daughter back within a day. If we don't, you can kill us but if we do, you will give us your army. Alicia is waging war so i would need an army" she said boldly
"Are you really the one?" The king asked
"I will answer that question when i return" khali answered.
"Release them!" He looks at khali closely "you i have one day".
